No I would fire every round I could get off and then pull my knife and get killed If it came to it. Im not a runner at all Id be dead for sure if I chose that option. Im not to shabby of a shot . With a gun in your hands there isnt a thing you cant take care of.
Im not sayin Im a hardass and would go toe to toe with a bear in the slightest. All I am sayin is I wouldnt stand a chance running so why bother.

Whats wrong with hunting ? Im not the biggest outdoorsmen youll ever meet but shooting animals in the woods with your people can be a good time.

Hunting for meat when you can go to the grocery store and buy it, makes as much sense to me as sewing your own shoes

Its not about food. Its about the story, the company, and testing yourself.

So take a camera and test yourself to get the best photographs of a bear in the wild. You don't need to blow it to buggery to feel like a man. Stalking for photos will give you everything that hunting with a gun will get you, except for a dead bear.

Animals are here for me to eat, kill, play with, keep as pets.
We are on the top of the food chain. Everything under us is here to serve us. That is how it works.

It's gonna suck when some of us are no longer gonna be top of that chain, in not so distant future.

No Arlos your forgetting the best part. The lovely sound of gunfire with no muffs the flash with no glasses and the satisfaction of knowing you hit your mark. Like I give a fuck about a bear. Seriously.
Arlos you should watch the outdoor channel. I saw these 2 niggaz go up in the mountins and smoke a grizzly. Bam!! Then that god damn bear rolled end over end all the way down a snowy hill. It was beautiful. Oh and dont give me that shit about defenseless have you ever seen a bears lil feetsies or his head? Fuck bears.

THe only thing that puts us on the top of the food chain is cognitive thinking, so in some cases, even here on the NT, there are those NOT on the top of the food chain

For me, its more about just being in the outdoors than it is making sure I kill something. I have just a good a time even if I dont kill something. Idiot wasting my short life hunting? Fuck off. Its just the same as a lot of you spending all your time building fucking stupid computers or whatever it is you do. I like to hunt, fish, and be in the outdoors, you like to do your thing.
And those bears are faster than you think, especially when they are pissed off. If you have a shitty enough of an aim to need 13 shots to hit the kill zone, good luck reloading before it gets to you. If your using a normal single shot bolt action rifle, good luck reloading 13 times. That was my point. Go shoot at a bear a few times and piss it off and see how fast it gets to you.

jeez. we are beating this dead horse again? To each his own. I prefer the taste of vennison over the taste of the shit the sell in stores. That means hunting it.
I go camping. for 1 week at a time. I dont bring a maytag with me to keep my food for the week. That means hunting.
Frankly if hunting is your bag so beit. if humping tress and praying to your green god is what gets you off...hey by all means.
Fucking druids.

Hunting if you're going to actually eat what you hunt is cool..hunting for sport just to shoot something seems a bit on the sick side. Population control is understandable when deemed necessary...my 2 cents.
Now back to the whole religion thing...
