What are these zones you speak of...Oh is that when your computer loads up a new place? The EQ2 world is small, dunno what you're talking aboot.

This is a stupid argument, like discussing music or movies.

Both games are well made and have their good and bad points.

Neither is revolutionary or changes the genre.

If you want to make an argument, why not bring up why one likes a certain game versus attacking one that you do not.

I personally found EQ2 to be more of a grind than WOW. I found WOW to be a lot simpler and less in depth, but the world is more fleshed out and characters have more options, such as a good PVP implementation, better solo content and quests, and a simple raiding setup.

EQ2 has more classes, variety, flavor, and team options. However, the PVP is lacking, and it misses the fun simplicity of WOW for quicker sessions.

Both games are head and shoulders above LOTR, and very different from each other so it's not really a good argument, anymore than a person who likes Heavy Metal and one who likes Rap arguing which is better...

I was counterpointing his "highpoints" of EQ2 which he obviously just posted some random fanboyish response. Don't even throw the "you play WoW all the time!" BS at me either. I've played more Vanguard in the past month than WoW. His arguements are still stupid LOLZ I GET TO PLAY IN MORE ZONEZZZ AND THERES ONLY 100 PEOPLE ON MY SERVER SO THERES NO KIDS!!!111

As a WoW player you enjoy Vanguard Tacks?

Sorry to get off track, I'm just curious.

And in regards to EQ2, the only thing that I really liked about it was the tradeskill system, imo they did a pretty awesome job on that.

Once they fix the bugs I'm sure I'll like it a lot. Right now there's moments of lots of fun and then frustration.

Yeah, you'll lag a little in town areas and you won't be able to play on max settings though.

For me EQ2 felt more of an accomplishment, if only a little, when you did something.

I felt no real sense of accomplishment in WoW unless it was PVP and I killed some moron 10 levels above me. (you have to be a moron to die to someone 10 levels below you, I don't care what class or who the player is)

EQ2 in my opinion, has much more fun and original content to experience.

WoW may have more content in the sense that there is more in quantity, but I would never place most of it in quality above what I've seen in EQ2. (A lot of quests in WoW are a shitload of fun, but they're just not the norm)

In the end, it's only preference. Both games are well done since both WoW and EQ2 have improved a fucking boatload since 2 years ago.

I think my problem with EQ2 was, I started on the PVP server right when it opened and it was the first time I ever played the game. So all I knew was getting pwnd by people higher level than me.

That's like when I first started playing EQ I started on Rallos Zek. Bad. Fucking. Idea.

This was back before you had a level restriction on PVP. I was corpse camped literally right where you spawn in for the first time ever in Kelethin.
