Anyone else starting WOW beta 3?

bit torrent sucks, we've complained about it every major push.

i could get a spot for a direct download if people need it.

Wyndrunus on the normal server - horde

send me a tell- i am on most evenings- i usually play eq first (if i can get on early enough) then log to wow.

most of legacy of steel who plays is alliance i believe

noobville is the "beginning" from levels 1-30 the encounters get slowly more interesting and complex, once you hit 30+ they get even more complex and heh heh you will love it. at level 30 for horde in desolace you get to have some fun with faction...pitting different centaur factions against each other etc....

BEST gameplay of any mmo to date imo.(and i have played most of them- CoH is not quite as good- gameplay is good in coh but the content is WAY better in WoW)

I'm playing as Rondel or Lyion, for Alliance.

Just doing some exploring and seeing whats out there.

So far the game is fun, but not great. Its very EQ/DAOC like in levelling with a few twists.

If you read the FAQ, open up a few ports, and run the XP Registry Tweak, it'll speed up your download immensely. I went from 8k to 70k by screwing around, reading the forums and tweaking things..

That said, this bitTorrent download is pretty bad. I'm not sure why Blizz is doing it, with bandwidth being fairly inexpensive.

I got speeds around 120k all night. I was playing this morning. Fucking amazing game. Got a rogue named Sarthis, and I'll probably make a druid later today.
