I don't know about that but I do know my wife was never able to just be happy. She always was depressed or upset about something. I don't think she'll ever be happy with anyone in her life until she can just be happy with herself.

I had a firefly in my apartment.
Really though, she never threatened to do anything like that.
I found out really late in during the relationship that she had borderline personality disorder. I couldn't cope with what was tantamount to taking care of a child in a woman's body. This was after she had already moved in with me, while I was ill for a month and change. I had been putting in crazy hours prior to that, so when I got home it was always a quick fuck, maybe a drink or two & dinner, another longer fuck, and then sleep for me. I didn't realize that she had spent the afternoon drinking & popping pills because I wasn't there.
When I got sick, I saw all of this because I was not able to work.
I had already wanted to break up, but I then realized how fucked up she was and started working on getting her help. I got her setup with a rehab counselor & a psychiatrist. I tried my best to get a network in place for when I finally cut her out. She thought I would never leave her though & in the end it shattered her psyche... I thought it was the best way for her to heal when I took an out of state contract job.
Nobody cared for her once I left... she lost her job, moved back in with her mother, her mom didn't care and just gave her money, in the end Ashley drank herself to death. My last words to her, "Ashley, you have to get a grip and stop drinking" when it should have been, "I love you."
So in any case, there are crazy psycho women out there that end up killing themselves after you break up with them.
You have to draw a line at some point though and accept the fact that not everybody is quite alright in their heads.
and I'm so goddamn sexy that women feel that life isn't worth living without me.

My wife's friend left her husband and took their daughter with her. Guy called her and said if you don't come back i'll kill myself. She laughed and said go ahead. Next day his parents found him dead in his home. Guy hung himself.
