there's some stuff here that we get at wal-mart

it's hard to justify spending an extra buck a gallon on milk, when it's the exact same product at wal-mart

I can understand avoiding certain house brands in stores, but when you're comparing exact same items, price and ease of availability are really the only 2 factors


ie, if the stores are side by side, I'll go to the cheaper, but if I have to drive across the city to save 50cents, I'll just go to the local place

Only stuff I buy from Target clothing wise is usually just jeans because they fit well. And occasionaly undershirts and what not. I don't have anything against their merona or mossimo lines but they are cut for Sk8terboiz as I have shoulders, and arms I feel like I bought a baby doll from them. If I dont buy athletic fit it feels as if I am wearing a parachute. Their jeans tho, very nice fits and dont wear down as much as I thought they would.

I'll stick to hitting up the stores down in Santa Clara and SF. Can find great deals - same prices - usually better fitting stuff.

I shop at JC Penny cause it gives the best deals on South Pole stuff.

Do you have a pair of those multi colored Fubu shoes and a pair of jeans with NBA teams patched all over them ?

Ya, they look like clowns. for Halloweenone year I bought a pair of jeans and sharpied teams all over them and bought a pair of all white spray painted them different colors and bought a white T shirt and wrote Faggster Gangster on it~ Me and my big drunk mouth almost got shot that night~

I shop at Target for pretty much anything- cereal, detergent, birthday presents/cards, bathroom stuff, Dvds, books, etc. Other things I buy bulk at Costco.

Taxx- lol I think it really must just depend on the area because at the Target I worked for, we hardly ever saw the country bumpkins or gypsies that I see in Walmart. If you ever find your way out to Cali I will take you to both so you can see.

...oh and because I think we'd have alot of fun goin to Walmart and filling up shopping carts and leaving them. I know you're as evil if not more than me muahah.

You definately fall under the category of "people commonly associated with Target" that everyone dreads being categorized as when they shop there.

I get our food at a local grocery store and clothes at the mall. Diapers, baby food, cleaning supplies come from Sams or Costco depending on which I feel like driving to.
I dont like shopping at Walmart and we just got a new Target a couple days ago in my town and I doubt I'll shop there much either. But if I am passing by and I remember I need something like lightbulbs on my way home, I'll drop in.
Heh, my dad works at Walmart stocking milk because he couldnt stand staying at home with my mom all day after he retired.

After working at Target, I wouldnt suggest food from them, especially their brand. It expires super fast. They have alot of problems with keeping dated items in stock properly.

Uhh do you have Target brand milk or something? Because every grocery store I have ever gone to has sold local milk.

Well that is their vendors fault, target doesn't stock the milk themselves.

But like Yogurt - cheese - frozen goods. Not alot of stuff gets rotated properly. Last time I worked I pulled off two shopping carts of expired food from the coolers and freezers alone.

It was whatever was there when we wandered in one day. I'm really sorry I remembered we needed milk while we were there, though.

We just started shopping for groceries at the super Target. Good food and significantly cheaper prices than Cub or the other local grocers.

ugh, ya - we bought ice cream there about a month ago and you could tell how old it was as soon as you opened it. never again, super walmart for food all the way ><

It was 3 gallons and the brand was labeled archer brand which is the target tag. As for the money, I dont like wasting cash. Ever 12.00 which is what is cost for all three gallons.

Now for milk and fresh foods I'd only go to Henry's or Ralphs..sometime Vons.

Sams = WalMart Darcler, so you still shop at Wal Mart, stop pretending.

I prefer to pay a couple of cents more at Krogers. I hate Wal Mart, filthy floors, no customer service. I only stop there late at night if I need something.

Sams may = Walmart, but I go there for 100gal jugs of laundry detergent when I dont feel like driving the extra 30min to Costco.

And I just said I didnt like to shop at Walmart, not that I avoid it at all costs.
