It was all in good humor and I was the one who suggested the modification of the post to include the new image AFTER people started the joking around.
It wasn't as if the image was changed immediately after he posted his new car, nor was the text of his post changed at all.
That being said, it was funny, light-hearted edit. Settle down a bit.

I'm not upset at all, I'm just voicing my opinion on post editing because I think it's homo. I didn't even see the edit, it's just the principle O.o

ok sure, lighthearted and harmless but I still hold firm to my point because it's a universal outlook and it'd be hypocritical for me to say it's ok sometimes and get annoyed by it other times :p

well, by the particular editor, I think it's failed to elicit a laugh quite a few times and should've probably stopped at that point. That's just my opinion of course, but like Jay said, harmless or not I'm not for post editing unless it's for an actual administrative purpose
