Wait, no, nevermind
Materials:
1. Nice picture frame, 8x12'ish
2. Scanner/copier/printer etc.
3. Dictionary or Thesaurus
Print out/blow up/copy the definition for Perfection to fit the frame fully.
Give it to her and tell her it's a mirror so she can see what you see when you look at her.
Ok, as funny as it was... that's getting old now.

So are you (41)

Get her some shoes and a dildo that way if she doesn't like the shoes she can go fuck herself.

nothing says "you have me wrapped around your finger" like an overly expensive gift. If you want to keep this girl around and the 400 is burning a hole in your wallet then go to a local spa and get a gift card for the both of you to get a message and a facial (you can get a manicure or something if that sort of thing is too metro for you). It will set you back about 400 (300 for the spa and 100 you sent to me for getting you laid) but you will get something out of it too. it's thoughtful and quasi-romantic and you can turn it into a whole day event with making her dinner or some shit.

He's gay enough that this isnt a weird gift.
$400? Jesus. Gid and I have been together....4 years (god I hope thats right) and I'd be pissed if he just blew $400 on some earrings or anything with gaudy diamonds. I'd like my gifts under $100 please.
Since we are buying a new TV this season, we have decided that we wouldnt trade gifts to each other, the TV (and PS3 from earlier) would be enough.
That said, it's different when you're married....but I'd still think Gid was a tool for spending $400 on me after so little time together. Heck, I was sorta uncomfortable accepting a Fossil watch after a little time.
p.s. hi yall

from the boy, i think perhaps i am getting a necklace to replace my broken one. yay! i also got a really pretty black pea coat from new york & co. that i absolutely love. and i say "got" b/c he let me have it early b/c i let him have his new monitor early.
i think i spent about $275 on josh, which is probably more than i should have. but he needed a new monitor and it was super cheap on sale for black friday at best buy ($200 for a 21-inch samsung LCD), so i don't feel too bad. and i bought him hellgate: london so he'd have something to open at his mom's house.
i think i went a little too far christmas shopping this year--i've spent around $100 each on the main people on my list (my roommate, my mom, my dad, alex) and i'm kind of feeling it now, since i have about $7 in the bank. :\ but i really think that i got some great gifts for people that i think they will really like, so that's worth it. i just think i'll need to scale it down quite a bit next year. merry homemade christmas, perhaps? eep.
truly though, i really love to give good gifts, so i hope i succeeded. i don't really even care what anyone gets me--i didn't have much to ask for, so anything i'm given is bound to be a tremendous success.

I'm in your boat, Leah.
I have a list to go by and I even went overboard with a list ><
the kids are too hard to resist...I have my son and my two nieces...what am I supposed to do? I even had to return two things because while wrapping I realized I really shouldn't have gotten so many things for them...but I love what I get people and look forward to christmas day!

I'm still trying to figure out what to get for my mother. My aunt I got a $40 box of assorted dark chocolates from Godiva, my dad I'm getting a spiffy wine opener, since the only one they have is about as old as I am, but my idea for my mom, really nice, really warm slippers/moccasins got shot down cause she bought her own pair like a month ago.

I went way overboard for christmas this year.. by a lot. that happens sometimes when you start shopping 3 months early and then find yourself without having to crunch out money at christmas I reckon. the big spending thing I bought I bought in October and the rest of my family was a 50-100 thing so it wasn't so bad, small family. for people I work with and care about but won't spend a ton of money on I just made like 500 pounds of fudge and put them in little dollar store tins, worked out well~
I look forward to christmas morning! I'm so excited about the big thing I got for Jonathan though the excitement has worn on me a bit since I've had it forever like I said - it's been virtually impossible to keep my mouth shut >< it's going to be beautiful, we'll have a nice quiet christmas day only spending it with someone I choose to spend with instead of feigning intereset in a bunch of random people I don't think twice about through the rest of the year, yay!

"One year of love and support."
I can't remember how long ago I started to hand those out that but it's been my Christmas gift for a while and no one I've given it to has regifted it yet.
