Unfortunately just "changing" the birth certificate is not that easy. As I said in my previous post, if your friend is on it and the real father refuses to be tested, depending on the state, he's going to be stuck. Period. Even though he isn't the father and has the test to prove it. There are plenty of stories out there of men paying child support for kids that do not belong to them. Yes there are some nasty scheming women out there, who probably are more aware than most men regarding the birth certificate issue. If your friend loves the kid, he should leave the girl alone but make sure he has some legal rights if she chooses to try to cut him off from the kid. There is actually a precedent for a father maintaining custody rights even when it's not his biological kid.

Well it just got better for him I believe. It turns out the Father of the child is actually the owner of the company and he called my friend and confessed it was his and that he got the certified copy of the test results. He actually told him before knowing what my friend would do. So now he is trying to find the best and most vicious attorney he can find. This could be a good thing for my friend at least.
