So Obama makes a couple of mistakes and he is surrounding himself with "criminals" yet the white house was full of criminals for the last 8 yrs and that was ok? You sir are truly an :asshole:

Hypocrite much, Evermoron? Just admit that Barry isn't the 2nd Messiah you thought he was, and admit that he's just as much a crooked politician as the other ones. Are you trying to act stupid and ignorant to generate harsh reactions to your stupid posts, or does it just come naturally for you?

I'm not quite sure how anything that's surfaced thus far makes him crooked. There have been blotches in the records of those he's nominated - newsflash, there are blotches in the records of almost everyone nominated in the history of history. The fact that he chooses to fix them, admit where his choice was wrong, and force his administration to come clean makes him the least likely to be crooked.

For the 398520958th time, no one here thought he was the second coming - we think he's a very smart man with very real ability to lead this country away from the deceit, needless spending, and needless losses of the last 8 years. The fact that he's human and prone to error once in a while does not change that. It's if and how the mistakes are fixed that matters, which was the main underlying problem of the last administration and many others - mistakes were fixed with bigger mistakes time and time again.

What debacle? I applaud what he did with torture and gitmo, I applaud his efforts to try and reach out to the GOP, though given their reaction to it, I think he should just give up and stop trying soon, as it takes two to tango.

The only thing I can think of he's done particularly wrong is post some people who have had tax issues to posts, and not even insanely awful tax issues either. Like I said before, you or I wouldn't go to jail just for owing tax money either, as long as we agree to pay it back + penalties and interest when the IRS comes knocking, which is exactly what Daschle did. It's not like he tried to appoint Bernie Maddoff as treasury secretary or something.

In all seriousness, if you feel this has been a debacle, you have a much lower standard for debacle than I do, certainly. Post-invasion reconstruction in Iraq: Now THAT was a debacle. FEMA's post-Katrina response: Debacle. Tax issues among appointees != debacle, sorry to say. Sure, Obama has made mistakes, but compared to Bush's mistakes, we're talking the difference between stubbing your toe and being run over by a Sherman Tank. Twice.

actually i kinda hope he IS the second coming

that way, when he goes "alright all y'all, my two terms are over, it's time to take my flock up to da Almighty G, who's with me?"

all the douchebags without brains in their skulls or hearts in their chests will be like " :badrazz: what a debacle" and that'll be just fine! fuck 'em!

who wants pieces of shit like that glooming on our eternal block party anyway :angel3:
