Well, normally I'd be really looking forward to football. However, I'm a 49ers fan, so this year doesn't exactly excite me in the least. With the team they're throwing out there, they would probably get beat by an average Junior College team. Good friend of mine had had season tickets for years, good spot (under overhang, so out of rain, too much sun, etc.), and he was so disgusted he didn't renew this year. I mean, when you grew up with Montana, Rice, Lott, etc. and suddenly you have Tim Rattay, Cedric Wilson, and NeverHeardOfThatFucker, it's a bit jarring.

So, I suspect I'll be watching a lot of 1st halves, followed by getting disgusted, followed by loud swearing, followed by throwing things at the TV, followed by burning John York in effigy, followed by turning it to something more interesting, like one of those dead UHF stations where all you see is static.

Yep, another year of Martyball in SD should make me more frustrated than John looking at pictures of Taxx.

Why didn't the 9ers get a vet QB and a few low priced players? At least SD has the appearance of trying to improve

Heh i was over at my friends in Milwaukee last year when Lions played Packers, he was pickin on Detroit so just to spite him i said that Lions was gonna own Packers and surprisingly they did. Moral of the story: it was only time in my life that i watched Lions game
