Good Call on the Dallas series, Vonk. I thought S.A. would ramp up and win that, even with their problems.
Cleveland sweeping Detroit was a surprise, but nice.
Kobe is a dirtbag. I hope the dirty rapist bastard and his L.A. brethren choke and lose to Houston.
Go Cleveland!

I felt bad for Brad Miller. It looked like he was crying after he missed the free-throw.
YAY Dallas. DO you think this erases that choke job they did against GS, Vonk? I love those priceless moments when Avery Johnson is commentating on the Dallas series and everyone is trying to ignore the fact that he pretty much got run out of town with that exact same team.
Wade is playing terribly in the playoffs. I know everyone is saying he's playing hurt but he should just stop shooting so many damn 3s. Miami Atlanta has been such a disappointing series.

Erase the choke? Not even close... That was supposed to be OUR YEAR. Dirk wins MVP, Josh, Devin and Terry all playing like studs, Damp and Diop combining to make a nice center rotation, Stack gets 6th-man, Dirk wins the 3-point shootout... 67 wins... that was the peak of maverick power for their whole franchise. We simply ran into the perfect storm - Nellie knew Dirk better than anyone, and he not only built that team, but he built the coach. He knew exactly how to dismantle us. Of course, Baron Davis making 20-25 OHMYFUCKINGGOD shots didn't help... seriously, there were deep 3s over double-coverage, 4 hands in his face... it was ridiculous.
GS beating Dallas caused a giant collective sigh of relief from all the western teams that year. San Antonio went on and p0wnd Cleveland, and... Dallas fans just added one more notch to their year-of-suck.
Taking care of a BRUISED and aging San Antonio in round1 is nice, but we weren't necessarily looking for vindication against them. We already had that in 06 with that 'greatest 7game series ever.' And, Golden State was a bottom5 team this year, so that was nbd. Even getting to the 2nd round this year was nice... Cuban would have likely demolished the roster if we were 1st round knockouts 3 years straight.
Aaaanyway... it was nice... but now we have to look at Denver, and they are playing as well as anyone right now. I'm a HUGE fan of Chauncey, and I love what he did for the Nuggets. And then, 58 points over New Orleans? Holy fuck. Dallas 'could' beat them, but they'd have to play as well as they did in games 3 & 5 (vs Spurs). I don't see that happening, to be honest. Way too inconsistent. My call: Denver wins at home in game6.

Why? The dude is one of the biggest asshole thugs the NBA has seen in the past 20 years. He has had sooo many flagrant fouls against point-guards. He sets picks and throws his weight into the tiny guards... He did that to Devin Harris one time (caused a severe neck strain that made him miss 8 games) - Josh Howard retaliated and closelined him at the other end of the court.

Yea he's an asshole and I hate him, but I'd love him to knock out Rondo.
I hate him more.

because it would've made the game more interesting! and no one likes to see a grown man cry when he loses the game for his team, it's just sad. (and a little embarrassing)
oy zan, you hate everyone!

I don't hate Chris Bosh (yet). I just hate the Celtics (so much).

No, I hate a lot of players from Toronto, and personally don't care much for the city at all.
I like Dirk and Kobe.

WTF Rondo. What was THAT about - jesus christ, dumbass. he manages to skate by with no flagrant on Miller (which was questionable, but could've easily been called) then pulls something like pulling Hinrich off the court..? /boggle
edit: so not a flagrant 1. I mean I'm okay with him continuing to play because I think the Celts need him to have any shot at all, but how that was a flagrant 1 is beyond me

Worst officiating I've ever seen in any sport my entire life.
I'm absolutely disgusted with the way the calls were going for both teams.
Double technicals, fouls being called on people 8 feet away because the fucking moron tripped over his own foot, etc. etc.
It was disgusting.
P.S. Fuck Miller. He's a faggot.
P.P.S. Game 6 was probably the most intense game in any sport I've ever seen and I rarely watch basketball. (Only the playoffs if the Celtics are in it, because I don't give a shit about anyone else)

Stop whining, it wasn't that bad. Cry baby Celtic fans always think the officiating was bad because they have to listen of king cry baby Tommy Heinsen.

Yeah, it had nothing to do with watching the replays and the absolutely fucking gross level of ineptitude the refs displayed. (If it wasn't ineptitude it was pure fucking bias and faggotry)
I refer back to the retard tripping over his own foot 8 feet away from Pierce, one of many pathetically awful calls.

...and like I said. It was fucking ridiculous both ways, and not just against Boston.

Can you blame the refs though? They prolly had some serious money riding on that game's outcome =P
PS - Joakim Noah's steal and dunk was bad fucking ass.

if you want to be fair, there was some
terrible officiating going on in boston's favor in the series against the bulls. the bulls could've easily won that series if some of the more severe calls would've been made, but no doubt stern was on the batphone knowing the celtics get him ratings.

That's what I find so hilarious. No one except the Lakers gets more love from the league then the Celtics and they have the balls to claim that they're getting screwed? After televangelists, New Englanders are the worst people in the universe.

shut up harrison, you don't even watch basketball until its time for you to suck boston's cock in the playoffs.
you're pretty much the epitome of why people hate boston teams.

Basketball isn't my sport, and neither is Hockey. But if it's the playoffs, and I will watch them as I always have.
Baseball and Football are my sports. Boston is my team, always has been. I am a hometown fan.
I see no problem with any of that.
I don't need to like the sport to support our teams.

home team support != making an ass of yourself talking shit about stuff you don't follow and therefore know little to nothing about, though.
