If you want to play golf with mario or rescue Zelda and defeat Mother Brain for the 1000th time, go cube, otherwise, its X-box or ps2.

I have asked before but so far received the silent treatment, so I am not sure but I have heard reports of the PS2's having a weak CD drive that has some flaws, but, it is unconfirmed by me so far as mine is 2 years old and fine.

You'll be hard pressed to beat the library on the PS2. I have noticed that Xbox has superior graphics though so it boils down to library vs. superior hardware I guess. /shrug

but if you'd take a minute to look at their games they have some really good ones

Don't get me wrong, Mario Golf hooked me like a Mofo, I just don't see that library being in the same league with PS2 or Xbox and that's what a system boils down to-library.

You could have the most powerful gaming console in the world and if there's only about 20 games for it, it isn't worth the plastic it's housed in.

Personally, their exclusive titles do not warrant going with it over PS2 or Xbox anymore. (I couldn't decide so I bought all 3)

I will buy a Gamecube when I can pick one up for $20 at a pawn shop. I don't see myself ever buying a PS2 though.
