every four years, the white male evangelical electorate shrinks in comparison to everyone else by 1.5%

did you notice that not even a week went by before hannity flipped his stance on immigration?

the writing is on the wall - the christian right (which is actually neither) is fading fast

Hannity's position on immigration "evolved" just as obummer's stance on gay marriage "evolved" in that rat's own words.

one side's evolution is the other side's flip-flop, obviously

No, they either both flip-flopped, or both evolved. Make up your mind already.

it's not an evolution if before the election you're all about self-deportation and building fences but after your guy gets crushed by the non-white vote you're all about amnesty and legal paths to naturalization

that's a flipflop

obama's evolution on gay marriage started with directing his DOJ to let DOMA rot on the vine, continued with ending DADT, and culminated in his statement supporting gay marriage

there's a clearly traceable trajectory

You guys love getting trolled.

I'll be honest, I thought Tricia Macke's comment was funny too. It doesn't make the comment any less ignorant, but funny is funny. I'll bet to some degree even Rachel Maddow thought it was funny. She probably got ribbed about it by a few close friends even. She's probably a literal genius and doesn't need you to be angry on her behalf. You guys need to lighten up.

Tricia Macke got a slap on the wrist from Fox and that's cool. Nothing she said was any more outrageous than anything that O'Reilly or Hannity says tongue in cheek. She was just stupid about it. If Modern Family can air an episode where the gay men make fun of lesbian stereotypes and it's funny, than this shouldn't cause any outrage.

Letting our beliefs run our emotions is what makes us divided. Lefties and righties are both guilty of this. Rachel Maddow hasn't commented on this at all. Why? Because it's entirely unimportant to her.
