Except many of the original EQ NPCs were named after MUD players Brad knew, so it's cyclical...
Anyways, there are thousands of NPCs, and only a handful have their roots in ex EQ WOW guilds...
I'll play whichever game is better.. I'm still bummed that Warhammer Online got cancelled...
yah me too.... Warhammer Online looked great. It really had a very sinister look to it, which is a big break from all the other generic fantasy games being produced now.
ya, the Developers <how can you not like a Dev group named Climax?> were sticking to a dark, nasty, Gothic feel a la the Warhammer roleplaying game, with an emphasis on Chaos Warpstones and a very 'adult' theme...
All gone, and were left with the PG Games... :shock:

I play Warhammer m'self, and was definitely looking forward to WO. Dunno if I've played it, since if I remember right they were big about PVP (and I've made my position on non-consenual PVP quite clear). If that's true, I probably wouldn't have played it.
Anyway, I'll stick to playing the miniatures game. Regionals for Emperor's Champion tourney this sunday, if I win, I get a free trip. heh.

I started to play warhammer 40k, but I was too poor to get up to a 1500pt army :\

And my point is, that fucking shit is expensive, we wont even get into the paints, brushes, knives, tables, props, books, dice, measuring devices etc.

A bunch of OLD LoS characters are npcs. This shouldn't really be a surprise seeing as two of our old GM's were Enolys and Tigole.
I think the quest they had me give was about right.
