Vikings will take the NFC central this year with 11 or 12 wins, with at least one 4 win streak. They will then proceed to choke in the 2 round of the playoffs.

Vikings are my least favorite team in the league. I'm sure it's a nice place... but for some reason I hate every professional team from Minnesota.

Just think Minnesota North Stars, Vonk...

Anyways, as much pain as Minnesota has had losing Super Bowls, how can you hate them?

Well, now I hate the Wild... Timberwolves... Twins... Vikings... I probably hate their Curling team and whatever poker players they produce. Plus, their accent is the most annoying in the country!!!!!

Drive to Waco and listen to those accents!

But they do sound Canuck in Minnesota..

It is actually Scandanavian or some shit. My Ex went to college there, she came back with that accent and I knew it was over at that point.

No.

"Yuns" is quite possibly the single greatest travesty of the english language.

When someone says it to you and whole heartedly means it, you will know this as truth.

Yeah they did. The Browns have a nasty, nasty schedule though.

I still think Cleveland's Run D will kill it. They have decent team speed, but we'll see how well they do against Baltimore in week 1.

They should just bite the bullet and start McCown now. He's better than Garcia and Holcomb.

i agree. i guess we'll see what garcia pulls out of his ass when he has more play time. they have to play him more than a quarter on saturday. else its not gonna gel.

if this proves steady, i could definitely see McCown taking second string, if not first string next season, but it wont happen this year. the Browns need a stable quarterback situation this season, and all fingers are pointing to Garcia. even if the third stringer is pulling better numbers than the first, the indecision would be unwelcome. the Couch/Holcomb shit last year was too much confusion to create an effective offense. no one was on the same page.

And here we have the 49ers, who's first string offensive unit put up something like 60 yards against the Viking's 1st team defensive unit. Also, the 49ers 1st string defensive unit gave up like 360 yards to the Viking's 1st string offense. Boy, I'm sorry I missed that game. Yep. Yep. Sure.

Oh yeah, this is gonna be a loooooooong season. I'll be shocked if we go 4-12. Can we run York out of fucking town, and bring back Eddie DeBartolo? Please? How in *HELL* do you get into salary cap hell twice in 3-4 years? We HAD a mega-purge of contracts cause we had a ton of dead money. Now, just a few years later we're back in the SAME SITUATION? ARGH.

Friend of mine who had a pair of season tickets already voted with his wallet, and refused to renew, even though his seats were in a pretty damn good spot. I don't forsee the 49ers being even a playoff team for years, much less a superbowl contender. Bleah

Yeah, but you guys haven't been a top-flight team since a few years before Marino even retired. When was the last time the Phins were in the super bowl? 84? So, having a sucky year is nothing new for you; it doesn't seem as bad as there's no high point to compare it to.

Now, 49ers, well, that's a different story... Though, to be fair, not since 95. Still, dominating most of the 80s is a much longer time span than 1 year. ;)

Bet you anything the Dolphins do better this year than the 49ers, too.

That's cause you fools stopped raping our league for it's best qbs. The Jets were smart enough to snag up ricky ray who might be the next Flutie/Garcia (ex CFLer to be pro bowler)

And again after 1 quarter on Satirday, Garcia gives way to Holcomb.

You get the feeling someone wants Holcomb to get all these snaps, for some reason... This is reminiscent of last years problems...

I agree with you. Holcomb has clocked the majority of snaps over both Garcia and McCown. so far im most impressed with McCown, especially for the number of snaps he's played.

im not at all impressed with holcomb's performances so far either. sure, his shoulder is fixed and he's healthy, but damn, he hasnt been very accurate lately. he had more accuracy when he was injured, just less range. now he's got the range but cant hit shit. i dont know why they are playing him as much as they have been.

This is really counter productive to getting Garcia in with the team. He doesnt know the lingo the browns use and as such he's been fucking up the play clock. I bet miscommunication will kill this offense more than inability this year. Even Winslow has lined up wrong a few times.

I just don't understand the Browns preseason strategy. Holcomb should be cut, the guy is not even a good backup. McCown should be getting at least 2 quarters of work per game. I dont understand giving Holcomb so much work when he's had so much on field time the last few years (crappy time, at that).

I guess they figure with their line, its just a matter of time until Garcia is in IR on IR, and so they're getting Holcomb ready.
