She's dropped the charges but is still pursuing it in civil court. She's after the money.

Yep. She'll get paid too. Doesn't mean he didn't rape her.

Correct me if I am wrong. Thre is not one shred of prrof that he raped her, except her word.

ALl of the evidence prooves otherwise. Just accept it and get over your I hate the black man that is talented and makes shit loads of money attitude.

Well, the vaginal tearing consistent with rape argues otherwise.

If she said 'No' at all, then it was rape. I believe she did say no, and he just took her. If you think that's fine, then whatever, but the fact she's a fucked up teen doesn't change the fact that he most likely fucked her without her permission.

I like Kobe, so this ain't about him. I do however feel he was used to getting his way and didn't take no for no...

You dont think the tearing could have been either from the boy she had sex with afterwards? or the fact that shes a skinny petite girl that sleeps with small peniied white boys and then chose to sleep with a large peniied black man? (OK I know thats stereotypical, but couldnt help)

Do you think if he was kissing her, and started to pull her pants off, and she said no, that he had the right to bend her over a chair and fuck her anyways?

Thats what happened, Silv, and what happened before or after does not matter.

No is supposed to mean no, I thought, but I guess in your mind its ok because he's from the hood, huh?

Oh, I'm sorry, you were there and heard her say No? If you were, then I change my opinion on everything.

That's HER account, but I guess it's worthless in your opinion for some reason. There were only TWO people there, and the ONE who was haphazardly bent over a chair, fucked and ripped, and pushed out the door crying was the one who claimed rape.

Damn, I realise you LIKE Kobe, but do you have ZERO compassion for a 19 year old who was taken against her will?

Why do you keep quoting me when you and I are the only 2 people talking in this forum right now? Its maddening.

I had alot of compassion for her in the beginning, when the story first broke. Then I started following the coverage, and with all the evidence that supports Kobe, I feel he was a star who she had sex with and then she told her friends about it, and then when her boyfriend heard, she cried rape, and now wants a huge chunk of money.

TO me those are how the facts appear in this case. If she was truly raped, I would feel bad for her, I really would. I don't feel that she was.

I don't believe for 1 second that the whore was raped. A whore is a whore is a whore is a whore.

You mean you are basing your opinion from the coverage and attacks from his multi million dollar legal team?

Nobody KNOWS what happened because it never made it to trial. Everything is conjecture.

If she didnt want anyone to know about it, it would've been easy to not tell.

Common sense tells me if usually you are fooling around with someone for the first time you typically don't bend them over a chair, hold them down and take them.

She might've been raped. She might not, but I believe he did take her despite her saying No, and in any context that is rape.

As was said over and over, if she was raped, then she doesn't run to boyfriend and say fuck me plz.

Oh, so you were therer and she was bent over a chair? OK, OK, so the whole "Innocent until Proven Guilty" thing means nothing to you? And you call yourself American?

Silv, I'm just saying I don't know. What I've posted is what she said, and now we'll never know.

The Prosecutor and Judge screwed this up so bad, coupled with Kobe's very good legal team, so we'll never really know.

I do think Rape victims rights got somewhat pushed back in this trial.

Who cares... he's a piece of shit who cheated on his wife. He DESERVES to be sued in civil court if nothing else.

But.... but he's a famous basketball player he's ALLOWED to break any moral code he wants!

Yep, the victim was really screwed in this trial. Why? Because Kobe's legal team was not going to sit back and let an innocent man be drug through the mud? She was mistreated so badly she's trying to get a huge chunk of change. Im sorry but if I were raped, no amount of money could make up for it.

He made a mistake, Diek. Historically he's been one of the good guys in the NBA, and hopefully this will give his life clarity again.

That's hardly fair.

Silv, money wins trials, whether you are innocent or guilty. Do you think OJ is innocent? Do you think Scott Peterson is innocent? Scott will most likely win due to top shelf legal teams. Its an unfortunately shitty fact of our legal system.

Dr. Michael Baden, a former New York City medical examiner who had been expected to testify, found that genital injuries and a jaw bruise found on the alleged victim at a hospital exam the day after she was with Bryant could have resulted from consensual sex.

Prosecutors later dropped Baden from the witness list but didn't tell the defense what Baden's findings were.

I do agree him cheating on his wife is almost as bad as him raping someone. He pretty much mentally raped his wife. That's just wrong.

again that was the fact that the LAPD (like most fucking stupid american police departments) fucked up the investigation on that one to the fact that their star witness lied in court under oath, discrediting any of his findings. It could have been Law_school_student_04 heading that legal defence and they could have gotten OJ off.
