I seriously hope halo2 is more difficult than halo1
Halo1 is an FPS for newbies I swear it.
That being said, I can't wait for HL2 because Doom3 was a huge disappointment.

On a side note, Halo 2 multiplayer fucking rocks.
Very nice graphics, good physics model, lots of new vehicles, new weapons, better levels, good gameplay moves, Internet support, you can use it with up to 16 separate Xboxes in a LAN, better player customization options, a better interface, dual wielding of weapons and easier control over the game options for fine tuning.
Buying this game for just the multiplayer is worth the 50 bucks. It's a very, very good game.

I agree~
I used to LAN halo1 with allll sorts of people all the time, and I can honestly say halo2 is even better than 1 for LANing for the first time. It's just...better... Everything about 2's multiplayer is improved, and I can not even imagine getting acces to XBLive. My pants grow smaller even thinking of it

Gameplay is alright. New weapons/vehicles are fun.
I just fucking hate playing as the Arbitor in the campaign missions because everything is so goddamn dark and I really dislike the fact they split the screen vertically rather than horizontally in split screen mode.
I cannot stress how much more important it would have been to either give the arbitor an ambient glow or just a simple goddamn flashlight. It was really pissing me off on Saturday.

Hello my love~
I think in options there is something that can split it horizontal for you. In fact, there must be because they were saying you could toggle it.
I didn't mind the arbiter missions too much really, the library one (1st half of it anyways) was "teh sux", but the last mission made up for it by roxxing.

he liked halo2 better, but perhaps because it was easier for him than first halo
my nephew prefered first one, he hasnt played halo2 after completing it much, he is back to playing fable

Majorly, maybe they'll get it right this time around.
It makes no sense considering how similar the Xbox is to a PC to begin with.

I tried halo 2 out this weekend, I find it much better than the first. I don't think I would buy it unless I had xbox live and the multiplayer is well done. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet so I dunno how that is.

Multiplayer is ok, the games are kinda short though. Like never more then 10 minutes, and sometimes it takes a while to find a new game, although they've patched their game creation servers and it's getting faster.

Lyion, weren't you adamant against subscribing to XBL?

Free passes.
I refuse to pay cash to XBL, but I have freebies to play online. When they're gone, I'm gone.
I will never ever subscribe to something just to get what I have for free at home already.
