I finally sat down this afternoon and played that mother out. Holy shit what and ending. This was definately one of the best games/storylines i have played through in quite some time, the twists were definately unexpected.
****SPOILER****
Gyp, did you finish the game with every possible companion? I had two slots open, one I suppose is from Death's Hand, because I released his spirit immediately (Open Palm). I'm trying to figure out who the last two companions are.

You know Tog, I'm not sure how many slots I had open, I'll have to check - I was open palm as well, but beat it with the bf's character which was closed fist, and he didn't have a couple of them.. didn't have any that I didn't
Did you have "the other" for Wild Flower? He was one of the followers.
Did you save it at a point where you could beat it with every possible way? I beat it all three ways - letting him beat me, going completely closed fist (which is what you get if you poison her blood) and doing it open palm

No, I am going to restart another character and play through closed fist. I don't know what you mean as "the other." I had Wild Flower, who changed into the demon when I fought (who also sucked btw).

Oh.. well that's one that you missed, then
Wild Flower had 2 demons traveling with her (you learn this by talking to her often) - one was Chai Ka, the good guy, and "the other" is a bad guy - don't remember his name because I saw it so briefly. Close to the end if you talk to her he surfaces and tries to talk to you, and you can challenge him to stay supressed in her and stop troubling her - if you beat him he becomes a follower.
You don't have to play closed fist all the way through if you just want to see the ending - I really wasn't terribly motivated to play again, I just wanted to see where else the story goes - I might play it all the way through closed fist again, though.
