I'm screwing around right now, but going to spend some serious time making a character.

Character Creation in this game is fun as hell.

I started with a tanker...didn't really like it.

Made a blaster....pretty darn fun. Only level 3.
Made a controller....wow its fun. Can't wait to fly. Only level 6.

I have a Blaster named Lion Phoenix, too. Just trying to get a feel for the game, and the Char creation is fun fun.. I'll prob screw around with all the classes somewhat.

Goons are on Victory, so I started there first. If we get a good group going on Justice I'd be tempted to switch. Currently "The Pontiff" on Victory though. 4 Mutant Blaster Ice/Ice

And I dont know why everyone thinks its a roleplay server. I have never seen any documentation stating its a roleplay server, it doesnt say roleplay server on the server select screen, nor have I seen any roleplaying in chat yet.

OK I will start it up tonight on justice.

Send tells to "The People's Poet" for an invite to the nameless retard super group.

You need to be level 10 before you can forma super group (guild) but any level can be invited. Getting lvl 4 is less than 40 min of work so if you want to come join us come on by.

Victory is the roleplay server in the same way SWG had roleplay servers. The official line is "all the servers are roleplay" so all the roleplay freaks make constant threads, websites, guilds, etc on victory and the devs refer to victory as the "unofficial" roleplay server.

I'll switch over to Justice tonight then.

Not sure why, but Justice is one of the heaviest populated servers right now. Every night Justice, Vic, and one other are all on heavy load, but the middle 3 or 4 are still on light loads..

Like Nagi said, you can have lvl 4 in under an hour easily once you know what to do.
Just keep taking the newby quests that involve clearing out warehouses and hideouts and stuff. Much faster than running around looking for mobs your own level in Atlas Park or wherever.

I suppose grouping might be just as fast, but I havn't had any trouble soloing up to 4 with any of the classes and combos I've tried (havn't tried a Defender yet).
Slowest run so far was this afternoon with my grav./emp. controller, but it was still only about an hour.

So far I have a lvl 4 martial/ regen scrapper, 8 ice/ice blaster, 5 rifle/device blaster, 4 grav/emp controller. I've already tried and deleted a handfull of tankers and a few other scrappers. <3 my blasters, but controllers are looking pretty nifty as well.

I'm fiddling with a Controller named Entrancer on Justice now.

Justice was one of the name reserve and early start servers. Thats why its full, but since they use instanced zones when one gets crowded its not a problem really.

They were having some problems the last 2 days with virtue and a few others that were not due to load though. Gaffer was scetchy with the details on the board.

Anyway, for an invite send a tell to the "People's Poet" (yes with the ' ) and I will invite you to my group and tag you if I can figure out how. Going to log on now to register the group.

I'm on Justice as Pontiff. Mutant Blaster Ice/Ice. Will look for ya'll.

Justice is NASTILY overpopulated.

We really need to go to Virtue or better, one of the low pop servers.

Lyion, Gideon and myself are having a blast tonight grouping.

Anyone thinking about getting the game...pick it up. Too much fun grouping with the gang.

Awesome game, for 30 minutes a day or 6 hours.

Got the guild going, any of us can invite. In game Captains are Coates, Entrancer, Pontiff, People's Poet, and Gideon Halo. I got to fly tonight.

Was fun tonight. Hope soon you all get up to mid teens and we can do task forces/whatever even if they are buggy.

I think we got everyone up to 6 since I stayed on with Pont and Gid and just debuffed mobs for them to tear apart till they both hit 6. If you all get lvl 7 tomorrow you can form groups and hit perez park and see what real gangs are like. Nothing like seeing 20-30 gang members with bats charging at you.

Justie is a crowded server and so is vicroty, but since htey instance every zone, even the world zones it feels no more crowded than any other server. Now europeans/asians may have a problem though, but virtue they will also.

Me and some others are playing on Liberty. I'd love to join you guys on Justice, but it being the most populated server makes me back away from it.

Kalec....it doesn't matter if its jamed packed or not. For people that don't know:
One of the zones is "Atlas Park". So if its full, they make a "Atlas Park 2" "3" ETC ETC.

If your in a group, and each person is in a different instance of Atlas Park...you all head to the mission on your map....and you all end up in the same mission once you enter the mission building.

If you want to just kill random shit on the streets together you need to be in the same instance...you need to let everyone know what instance your on.
Train to zone is usually within 1-3 minutes from where you are.

Lyion and i wanted to change servers...thought it was laggy, because we couldn't get on the train.
Turned out, we were at the exit for like 10 minutes swearing trying to get on lol.


Best part about this game, is you can outrun all the mobs. Lyion and i experiance that well last night

Haha I did the same thing. Stood there for like 5 minutes clicking on the gates, and trying to figure out what was wrong with the trains. Then I realized I was in the exit terminal /bonk

Yeah, being able to outrun everything is cool, but almost every mob in the game has some form of range attack. Those reds and purples can put a serious hurting on you before you can get out of range, especially if you agro a whole whack of them.


P.S.- As slow as it is, I still love hover. If Fly is the same speed as normal (non-Sprint) run speed I'll probably cream myself the first time I use it~

P.P.S- Anyone care to tell me how to post screenshots? I'd look up some freebie hosting, but I'm not sure I'd know what to do with the actual pic files to get them to dispay...
