Matthew Chapter 7

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

It just amazes me how many "good Christians" forget that little passage oh so conveniently when it comes to issues such as abortion among many other politically charged topics.

As far as GOD is concerned you fuckwits have no business slanging your religion around to the people, especially since most don't want it.

That includes your short sighted retarded dogma regarding abortion.

The bottom line is that abortion needs to be legal, easily accessible and anonymous. The minute it is not we will start having women getting hurt or killed trying to find other alternative reasons to get rid of their unborn kids.

The only thing I would do differently is try to advertise adoption services and make those just as easily available as an abortion clinic in hopes that more women would choose that path.

Nobody is going to stop fucking. It is a great national past time so that stupid comment of yours is totally irrelevant.

I'll say it again... if you're not ready to be a parent, don't have sex. Use sex toys or whatever... but don't have sex.

Using your logic Ralph... is why hundreds of thousands of abortions are performed every year. Doesn't that tell you something? The ONLY thing it should be telling you is that people shouldn't be having sex if they don't want a child. That's the bottom line. Get a vasectomy, or get your tubes tied... but stop with the abortions already.

I really hope they illegalize abortions some day except in severe, and necessary cases. Just because you had sex and got pregnant accidentally does not give you the right to kill the fetus because it's "inconvenient" for you. That's yet another reason why liberals disgust me to no end.

That isn't the point of the article. Yes abortion is bad, and a choice, I for one, hope I am never faced with. There is nothing wrong with birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

About how you don't know what words mean.

I don't think "oxymoron" is in the bible, so that makes a little sense, but I think "hypocrisy" is.

Yeah, but birth control fails like 3% of the time. A guy could be wearing a condom, and the girl could be on the pill, and there is a 3% chance she can still get pregnant.

All I'm saying is that you should take responsibility if something goes "wrong" in accordance to you. If a girl gets pregnant she should do the right thing and have the child. If they guy who got her pregnant starts freaking out and tries to move out of town or out of state, they should track him down and attach his wages for 18 years. I can't stand "deadbeat dads."

You illiterate freak. "Oxymoron" means two words together but it's ironic for them to be together. Hence, "Planned Parenthood" is an ironic statement of two words because they perform hundreds of thousands of abortions. That is anything BUT a "planned parenthood."

Hi, welcome to elementary school. Did you get past 4th grade?

Mindia, it's not an oxymoron. Think about it. The people who go there, are planning to have safe sex until they are ready for parenthood.

I have thought about quite a bit... and that's how I arrived at the conclusion that "planned parenthood" is an absolute oxymoron. They should change their name to "planned irresponsibility." That would make much more sense.

If it ever comes up for a vote I'm voting against abortion, and I will join rally's to support the pro-life movement. I'm so sick and disgusted with this nonsense.

OK, take the blinders off for just a minute, you are starting to sound like Finawin when he goes on his anti abortion tirades.

If someone wants to get on birthcontrol.................
to control pregnancy........................
because they don't want to get pregnant...YET
that is Planned Parenthood.

Not every person who gets pregnant accidently aborts their child, I didn't.

When I got my pregnancy test done at PP, they gave me a lot of flyers. A couple were for adoption. NONE of them were for abortions. They do not press this at all. YOU have to ask about it. There is a separate clinic for it all.

I still want to know if someone is being a whore if there are married, in a bit of financial trouble, get pregnant and want an abortion, knowing full well they can not give the child the life he/she deserves.
While I will agree in some cases that adoption is an option here (since the adopting family will pay medical expenses), but it would be twice as hard to give birth and see the baby, knowing it is no longer yours, than you terminate it in the first trimester. If you have a child, you know what I am talking about. You fall in love at first sight of the pink, wrinkly little thing.
I forgot my original point I was going to make and I dont feel like rereading this.

I agree that abortion IS bad. That isn't the point. Banning birth control is only going to increase the rate of abortions, period. Many people don't share your view on abortion and will look to it as a viable alternative to unwanted pregnancies.

Making birth control difficult or impossible to obtain is the kind of shit that makes me hate right-wingers. It's just plain fucking stupidity driven by overzealous religious nutjobs.

Banning or making abortions difficult isn't going to fix that problem either... It is only going to force women into potentially dangerous situations trying to get the abortion illegally. I still don't see why people even bother protesting abortion. If a women wants to get rid of it a kid bad enough they will find a way.

Now I have this question then.

Ephesians 5:22-24
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Does the women have the choice not to have sex if she is not ready to be a parent if her husband demands it of her?
