Yes I heard awhile back they are working on a sequel... I know people say that about a lot of things, but it is what I heard. If I get a chance at work today I'll try to look for it.

shit, sorry to write down what I hear and not look it up. Apparently there is no evidence there is a movie being made by Broken Lizard for Super Troopers 2... The best I found was an interview from webwombat:

**What die-hard fans really want to know, though, is whether or not a sequel to Super Troopers is a possibility. "I wouldn't rule it out - I don't know, maybe," says Jay. "We had this idea of setting it back in the 70's, playing our fathers. We'd be on the beat with hot rod cars and sideboards. The problem with sequels is that we've done all there is to do; so pulling more people over - they’ve seen that. And we've also got like four or five other scripts that we would like to shoot… Then again, if someone threw a lot of money at us. Three years we could be back here promoting Super Troopers 2."**

sorry bout the confusion. :-x

Np at all. Interesting little snippet there though. I just hope whatever they make next is a bit better than Club Dread :|

Two kids from here got lost for 4 days at sea, ate jellyfish and drank salt water and got chased by sharks trying to stay cool until they were found, and noone knew about it because stupid selfish bitch got all the news.

I read the Notebook and when I first heard about this, that is all I could think of. that chick ran off to get some closure with someone else. I dont' give a shit past that and I dont' care who's family they belong too or how much money they have, how christian they are or how many "issues" she has that her family doesn't know about her. I was really frustrated with how much coverage this got.

And two kids also got cut in half by a train riding dirt bikes while drinking and smoking marijuana- they were 14. Not that I really like or can stand at all those cheesy anti-drug "the more you know" commercials they have on television, but national news of kids getting cut in half by a train while under the influence of drugs and alcohol seems like a taste of reality that most parents are dealing with lately and it's a huge problem. Perhaps stories like these can be learned from. Maybe that's as cheesy as some of the commercials, but kids are fucking doomed today.

I know what you mean Araby. This past week a drunk driver who registered .43 (YES, four point three ) smashed into a car trying to make a turn, doing 70 mph! The man is in Royal Oak Beaumont with a broken neck, and is facing 3 counts of 2nd degree murder of the victims in the car.

The victims were a mom and her two boys from Farmington Hills :( That man should be the one having a funeral today, not some poor man's wife and 2 only children.

Thank god Detroit news stations are putting this story before the stupid runaway cunt's. Not sure about the rest of the cities.

Actually, he should be facing first degree murder charges and be sentenced to death if found guilty (if i had any say).

I love the death penelty - human trash is desposed of quite easily.

a coworker once told me about a DWI case that came through on some middle-aged lady who was like 5'2" 120lbs

she got pulled over for a broken taillight and the officer saw that there was an empty beercan on the passenger side floor so he asked her to submit to a field breathalyzer test-- she blew a .39 so he gave her the field sobriety test (you know, touch your finger to your nose, follow the pen, estimate the passage of 30 seconds without counting out loud, etc) and she passed them all just fine like anyone normally would

he said i'm sorry ma'am, i think maybe my field breathalyzer must be malfunctioning, but i've got another officer en route so i'd like to see what his says, and she's like okay that's fine

once the second officer gets there, she blows a .385 on HIS breathalyzer so they say i'm sorry ma'am we're going to have to take you down to the station. once they get there they test her on the huge breathalyzer and sure enough, it's a .384 (still over four times the legal limit of .08, and WELL into the omfg-you-could-just-keel-over-and-die range) so they cite her for DWI. the whole time this is going on, she's steady like a rock, no slurred speech, no apparent symptoms of being intoxicated whatsoever-- but she fully admitted to having drank a whole shitload of beer that night.

not entirely sure how this relates to the thread but i sure thought it was interesting

I've drank a whole bottle of Jagermeister with my ex and she was spinning and puking while I was pissed I didn't feel anything. But every other time I got wasted off of it. There must be some kind of an enzyme reaction deal going on.

P.S. I already used my Indiana Jones-girl picture, so I'll abstain.
