Ganzo skipped or danced around without answering several of the commandments, like:
Don't touch pigs.
Don't wear mixed fibers.
Don't alternate crops.
Don't touch menstruating females.

There are something over 600 commandments in the OT. Which do you adhere to? Which are still in force? Why? Why not?

Answer: you pick and choose.

Do you even fucking bother reading before you spew your bullshit?

Go back and read his post.

If you are so stupid that you can't see where he addressed 3 of the 4 listed, I wouldn't be surprised in the least.

Ganzo clearly avoids answering just about all the points.

Get off Rust's dick Fin, it's embarrassing.

A. Whoever wrote that letter to Dr. Laura is a complete imbecille, and he/she owned nobody.

B. Ganzo just royally owned the writer of that letter to Dr. Laura.

C. Dr. Laura is awesome, and gives excellent advice.

Oh no... don't do that... now he's going to post his degrees again for the 700th time.

p.s. what I love most about it is... he's not the most educated person on the board... although I am sure he thinks he is.

The fact that Rust has a Master's degree (or so he claims) is proof positive that Canadian universities have lenient and lackadaisical degree requirements.

The writer of the letter was just pointing out something that people keep ignoring. Lots of people say this is wrong or that is wrong becuase the bible says it is. Well the bible says a whole lot of things are wrong that people disregard every day including the people who judge people based on what the bible says.

Ganzo didn't own anybody. He skirted the issues on many of the points. It does not change that the bible says those things are wrong and what the punishment should be.

Dr laura is an idiot who likes to hear herself talk. She wants to tell everyone why they are so bad and why she is so great.

The two times, not 700, that I've noticed Rust mentioning his degrees he was practically forced to by trolls like Fin and Deikan. It's a fun NT argument and all, but it's completely retarded.

I'd worry about your schools Mindia, and then work your way up the ladder.

Donnel, Leviticus does indeed say that eating shrimp/crab/lobster (or squid, or clams, or oysters, etc.) is an ABOMINATION. You stated that abominations are what carry forward. Why then aren't you calling anyone who eats that stuff just as against god as you claim homosexuals are?

Yes, I know orthodox Jews follow the dietary laws in leviticus, but we're not discussing orthodox Judaism, we're discussing Christianity. Why then do you pick and choose which abominations you follow, and how are you qualified to make that judgement? Or, where in the bible does it say to now ignore certain portions of Leviticus but not others?

Actually, orthodox Judaism was the root of this conversation...

If you're going to discuss Chistianity, the Law of the Old Testament definitely changed when Jesus entered the picture.

I'm not an expert in Hebrew, but from what i've read, there's a semantic difference in the homosexuality reference and the Seafood one.

One implies abomination as reflexive to God, the other an abomination inferenced to people. The important difference here is that the abomination to God is a part of the character of God. If it is detestable in his sight then, it is detestable now. As I quoted earlier, God never changes from day to day.

In Acts 10, Peter is instructed in a dream 3 times, to take, kill and eat of "unclean" animals by the Lord. This prepared him for the start of his ministry to Gentile people and his understanding of who the "Nation of Israel" (Those under the covenant) were.

In the early church, the strict jews wanted to make the new Christian converts conform to Judaism, but this was not God's plan.

Romans 9:6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel;

In other words, those who are a part of the covenant of grace, who are sanctified by grace, not their adherance to laws

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Are the true people of the covenant. The Abrahamic covenant was fulfilled when Christ died on the cross. He brought a new covenant, not of blood sacrifice, but of grace because he WAS the sacrifice. Therefore we are not bound by the old ways.

This doesn't change the fact that God detests sin, and one of the characteristics of God that the Bible reveals is that Homosexuality is an abomination to him.

Hope I was clear on that.

Ahhhh, but I was addressing my question to Donnel, who was discussing his reasons for holding to the levitican proscription against homosexuality, when there is no such similar proscription anywhere in the new testament.

When you get a degree from someplace other than hitting the printscreen from a website, you'll be free to comment on other's education

He's a pathetic blowhard and nothing more. Attempting to garner the attention of everyone here and hold it up to his ego long enough to jerk off only.

Ganzo answered the questions briefly, without a few hours on google. It's not like anyone in this thread has remotely the level of understanding of Judaism besides him.

Anyways, Captain Religion and Captain Google are trying to force their views on others. What a surprise. Lt, and Sgt. Google have also signed up for a tour of duty in support of Captain Google and his doubting thomas abilities of unrenown.
