EGG BEATERS DO NOT HAVE YOLKS IN THEM!
They rule. Mop and I have them all the time.

SOURCE: http://www.eggbeaters.com

What are Egg Beaters made of?
Egg Beaters are made from real eggs, but only the "best part" — the whites. Then we add vitamins and other nutrients that would otherwise be lost when the yolk is removed.

Are Egg Beaters as nutritious as whole eggs?
While the traditional whole egg delivers a variety of important nutrients, it also contains 5 grams of fat, 75 calories and a hefty dose of cholesterol — about 210 milligrams per large egg — all of which is found in the egg yolk. In contrast, Egg Beaters is actually more nutritious than traditional whole eggs. By eliminating the yolk, all of the fat and cholesterol(except with the Cheese & Chive variety) and more than half of the calories are cut out. In addition, the product contains greater amounts of important vitamins like A, B-12, D and E, as well as other essential nutrients such as folic acid and riboflavin.

Are Egg Beaters the same as egg whites?
No. When you separate the yolk and use just the white of the egg, you lose important nutrients found in the yolk. Egg Beaters adds these nutrients back in, providing an even better nutritional value. Plus, there's no waste from unused and discarded yolks.

What do you do with the yolks?
ConAgra Foods purchases pasteurized egg whites only. The supplier of these egg whites sells the yolks to other food and manufacturing companies for a variety of uses.

Why are Egg Beaters yellow?
Egg Beaters are naturally colored by beta carotene, just one of several vitamins and minerals added to Egg Beaters to make them nutritionally comparable to whole eggs, but without the fat and cholesterol.

What are the Egg Beaters Garden Vegetable, Southwestern and Cheese & Chive varieties and why are they unique?
Egg Beaters Garden Vegetable, Southwestern and Cheese & Chive varieties are the first egg products made using a patented process that combine the delicious goodness of real eggs, real vegetables, real cheese and special seasonings for a delicious, healthy eating experience.

What can the flavored Egg Beaters be used for?
Egg Beaters Garden Vegetable, Southwestern and Cheese & Chive varieties offer consumers a delicious eating experience. Whether you love scrambled eggs, omelets, burritos or other egg dishes, with Egg Beaters, it's just a matter of pour and cook. The vegetable chopping and cheese shredding is already done for you! These varieties come in a re-closable pour spout package that eliminates the messiness of shells.

no clue .. don't think I have ever seen them. They have a couple other egg beater like products out there but none have yolks. I buy just the whites in the carton as well. We also buy regular eggs. 1/4 cup of egg whites is the equivlent of an eggs worth or protein. I usually do the egg white serving but also cook 1 regular egg as well with it. The yolk has benefits too. It still has a quality protien and fat source in it. It also tastes better. I just don't like to eat too many whole eggs because they are more calorie dense. Also, if you have high cholesterol or a predisposition to high cholesteral in your family you might want to stay away from the whole egg.

It's kinda hard to motivate yourself to buy just whites when we get eggs fresh off a farm :(

When I was in college the first time, I bought my mom this wooden egg that was painted white with black sopots, like a cow. It said Heffer Egg. It was alot funnier at the time when I raised cows for show.

pre-beaten is what happens when the yolk wants to be a bastard and not leave the whites.

Most end up in the garbage disposal.

What posseses someone to post on the internet on the rare occasion they are hammered?

That is a question for the ages.

By the way... heavy drinking is not recommended for the avid weightlifter. I had the worst hangover today and missed my workout : (
