I like anime a lot.

It ranks up there with my love for honda civics, DDR and allnight PS2 action.

I like these things because they alleviate any competition I have with asian men when trying to score with asian women.

Thank you anime!

akira's soundtrack is great. they took ethnic music from a bunch of places and had professionals come in and do that and then wrote industrialised backups for it all. all the themes are so sweet

philip glass does the best soundtracks imo

I'd rather watch indi movies over anime... and I don't care if jesus was on the soundtrack.

Hehe, I have it. I have most anime soundtracks of the animes I like... well... most of the songs because some I do not like. DN Angel is good, but some of the songs are a bit too cheerful.

I love Final Fantasy soundtracks, though, especially VI, VII and VIII. <3 Nobuo Uematsu is my God..

Well.. and John Williams.

Negative.
Macross Plus OVA Soundtrack > *

Kinda sad sometimes though, reminds me of a friend who isn't here anymore.

I have some Macross songs, like the one by, erm.. Okay, now I forgot her name, although I can hear it in my head... The chick who is going to play Aeris in Advent Children.. sec... there we go, Maaya Sakomoto.

She has an amazing voice and her songs are beautiful.

But, I still prefer the fully intsrumental songs of Nobuo and John Williams, as they are inspiration for me to write.

I have many, many anime soundtracks, though... as I said... although, I remove the songs I don't like.

The only anime that has flat out stunned me was Princess Mononoke, it was really beautifully done.

I tried watching Wolf's Rain (I think, it was something with wolf in the title), and it rather confused me, most likely because I watched an episode from the middle of the series without knowing anything? Are they wolves or people or both?

Yes, Wolf's Rain is not the best anime to start from the middle, as it is a bit odd, but yes, they are both wolves and humans, kind of.

They are wolves, but since they are nearly extinct from people killing them and since people totally fear them, they have the ability to appear as humans to humans, but technically they are always wolves.

Of course, it's also for the audience to enjoy looking at them. Hehe.

Hehe, glad I helped. That anime is actually amazing, even though, like many animes, in the beginning I was like, blah.. but then I became hooked.

They have it on the anime network and there have been rumors of it coming to Adult Swim, although they just put a bunch of new animes on, so who knows how long until that actually happened.

1. Yoko owns.

2. The thing with Vincent above, I heard it was another movie staring him, but thats just some shit I got from e3, maybe heard wrong.

3. Advent Children stars many Sephiroth clones... didnt they get pwned by sephi in ff7 already? He wiped a hell load of them marching up that mountain..

Hehe, thank you for sharing Vincent. I would share pictures I have, but then we'd be here all day.

Dirge of Cerberus is a game starring Vincent and it is going to be more of an action/shooting type of RPG rather than the traditional kind and it takes place after the original game, but before the new movie.

And, yes, he did kill a bunch of his clones in the original game, but the three in Advent Children are superior to the normal ones, although I cannot tell you why. They wish to bring back Sephiroth and from the most recent trailers...... Well, it is just one scene, so I supposed it does not really matter. He is in flashback scenes, as well.

There will be another game, as well... but there is no information on it yet, that I have seen.

Those are also from Dirge of Cerberus, although much smaller than the actual versions of the pictures, but still. Still beautiful. I love Vincent. Hehe. I beat the original game with him in my party. The first time.

I love the storyline. Cloud's insane with his replacing his memory with someone else's. I love him. I love the whole game. People can hate it all the way want! Doesn't matter. I still love it. Hehe.

Yeah, I don't get how there could be h8 for FF7. All around it was a really great game. I must admit I went ":eyecrazy:" when you found out cloud was mixing up his memories with Zack. What a cool twist.

Now, hating 8, and 10, and X2... THAT I can understand ;)

(9 wasn't hot either, but it had Kuja so I forgive it :P)

Square games have been getting progressively worse...

I love VIII. =\ And I hated X, until I played and beat X-2, because it finally made X seem like an actual Final Fantasy game with the dead people, the love, the storyline!

And the job/dress sphere system in X-2 totally rules.

But, yeah, they are nowhere near as good as they used to be. I suggest Shadow Hearts I and II and Xenosaga I and II.. even Growlanser... they are fun, fun games.

Well, FF8's official theme was "LOVE" - and thats when you know a game series is going down hill. The same thing happened to the Kings quest series. That and the weapons system was bizarre in FF8. I never figured it out. :eyecrazy:

I've never heard of shadowhearts. I might take a looksee at it.

As for Xenosaga 1... whew, what a great game. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. And it has (I'm convinced) the greatest Villain ever made... Albedo! :D Just thinking of his manic laughter of lunacy makes me feel all squishy inside.
