Yeah I'm totally flying out to the next game to stalk him...fucking moron. 37% shooting percentage an entertaining game does not make. Defensive games are boring to watch. I'd rather see high scores and sloppy defense. Fuck the basketball elitists. I don't want to watch baseball on a court.
Bullshit. If a team shoots 37% because they can't hit an open jumper, or they're incapable of executing an offense, that's ugly. When a team shoots 37% because their opponents fill all the passing lanes, play beautiful off the ball defense, and contest every shot, that's great. Why should brilliant execution on defense be any less rewarded than on the offensive end? It's not like the Spurs are out there thugging (Knicking?) people to death. They're just playing amazing team defense.
Can you imagine going to a baseball game and complaining that it was boring because they didn't commit any errors, or because the pitching didn't suck? How about going to a football game and complaining that it sucked because the coverage didn't break down, or that the pass rush wasn't pitiful enough?
Yeah and 0-0 games in football are boring too.

Because, you know, we've seen soooo many 0-0 games in the playoffs so far, right?

Ginobili drives to his left 99.9% of the time. They should force him to his right.

He drives left because he can, not because he has to. Did you
see that ridiculous and-1 shot he made right-handed last night? He's capable of finishing with either hand, but he's so strong going to this left that in order to stop him from doing so, you have to overcommit to that side. If you do that, he will definitely get into the lane, and any time the Spurs guards successfully get to the paint, bad things happen to the other team.

Exactly, because defense is fucking boring to watch.

While I was hoping for an entertaining Amare vs Wade battle..this series is starting to tickle my fancy. So many key matchups and the game can swing anytime.

Detroit is too well coached and talented a team to get swept. I said I thought it'd be 6. I still think it will be. The big problem Detroit has is the 2-3-2 setup sucks ass. They can take 2 of 3 and still head to S.A. down 3-2.

I think SA will win the next game then lose the last in Detroit and close the series in 6 at home.

Even though I am a Miami fan, I think coach Brown is one of the best in the game ever and am therefore, pulling for Detroit.

Brown is unquestionably one helluva coach. Popovich is just as good though, and doesn't have an unquenchable case of wanderlust. I'm sticking with Spurs in 6, though admittedly, I'm biased.

I missed last night's game. Did Detroit force Ginobili to go right like i said? He only had 7 points.

i think he slightly injured an ankle or knee or something early in, and it slowed him down enough for prince to keep him in track.

That man is unbelievable. I love his interviews even more than his 3 point killers. He's so upbeat and happy to be where he is. Just watching him with the reporters on the floor right after the game was great. No trash talk, no self congratulatory remarks, just genuine "good times"
Then sitting with Stuart Scott on Sports Center...awesome stuff...yea I'm 68 or so.

From last week.. Still sticking to my story.
Real good series, and I'll be curious if Detroit can turn up the heat in SA.

I think so, too, but if Duncan fails to show up again, they could get dunked.

He failed to show up in the last 6 minutes, he had a great game until then.
