I'm an offensive priest, I can normally grab the flag get it to the tunnel and dump it to some plate and guide him back.

I would say with my guild I have a 90-95% win ratio. When I'm with a pug I'll get like 40%. I also have loaded my friends list with good CTF players so when I go, I know who's good and who's not.

Has anyone else found themselves just /afk'ing out of groups before they start because the groups so shitty?

As far as "shitty groups" only real problem I've seen is where there is no remote plan. Too many groups just all go do their own thing. >< I have a serious issue when I don't have any idea who might end up being flag runner and they just take off by themselves only to die half way across the field. Thankfully I've only had a few of these so far.

We faced a couple groups of SotG tonight and while they did win the match 3-1 I was expecting a bit more, considering we had no rogues, mages or priests (4 druids ftw!) and we held out for the better part of a half hour. It appeared as though their strategy was charge and their superior HP/mana should allow most of them to surive while one or two in the forward echelon would take a dive. By cutting us down they effectively divided our force lest we wait for the rez timer and give them a free flag. Oh well, was fun despite the loss.

On another note, being multi-shotted for 1200+ 4-5 times was somewhat amusing; makes me wonder how we'd fair with that kind of gear

I'd never seena crit over 900 pre-patch, and now 1000+ is common
