So true. The Celtics are quite boring to watch.

I hate you guys. Boston really isnt that boring to watch, when they are running on transition ever possession, and pierce isnt ball hogging it up. All the young players they have, thats also fun to watch. The Celtics easily beat the Clippers in summer league today, Gerald Green, 14 points!!!!!! As a bonus, we have the best commentators in all of sports, Tommy Heinsohn!!!! and play by play, Mike Gorman.

Celtics also have Coppenrath on their summer league team!

Too bad Tommy Heinshon couldnt suit up for them, may be then the Celtics will be able to make the playoff next year.

Detroit, Miami, Washington, Cleveland, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Indiana, and Chicago.

Clearly, the top tier consists of:
Detroit
Indiana
Miami

There's a middle tier of:
Cleveland
New Jersey
Chicago

Then you've got the following teams scraping for the last two spots:
Washington
Milwaukee (if Ford comes back strong)
Boston
Philadelphia

Boston could well make the playoffs, but won't make much noise even in the East.

Idiot, that's impossible. Their are 3 divisions in the East, Atlantic, Central and Southwest.

The 1,2 and 3 seeds for the NBA playoffs go to the winner of each division. Miami and Washington are in the same division, therefor, they cant be the 2, and 3 seed.

Now with what you learned, try to come up a playoff picture that could actually happen.

This coming from the man that drafted Darko in our Fantasy league last year~

As for Toronto. Even I don't see the current team making the playoffs unless Bosh has an MVP season(Which I don't realistically see happening).

If a Magloire trade is down the line and we could only lose CV, Rose, Peterson, and any of our bench players than I think we have a legit chance at making some noise in the east, but NO would have to be crazy about Chuck to swing something like that.

But, I do see Hoffa having a real turn around year. There's really gonna be no pressure on him this year and I doubt Villenueva is gonna start instead of him, so he'll have some PT to get used to NOT fouling people. Everyone is having fun murdering Babcock for selecting him after 1 year in the league. Seems a little premature to sell the guy short.

I guess the critics can spend the year murdering Villenueva instead of Hoffa this year.

Larry Hughes just signed a 5 year deal with the Cavaliers. Look more likely now that Cleveland will make the playoff next year.

i have higher hopes for Villenueva then araujo. Granted i didn't watch nearly as many raptor games but I didn't really see even a spark of potential there other then being tall. He came accross to me as another big country, unless he puts some time in and gets himself some sort of a back to the basket, or if he dedicates himself to playing d and rebounding, but right now he doesn't seem to contribute anything other then an extra 6 fouls

Larry Hughes can't shoot threes that well and neither can lebron, so now they have a SG/SF combo that can't shoot threes and still don't have a PG. Cleveland will be better than last year, but they still need help.

Cleveland is looking to sign some foreign point-guard, who is suppose to be amazing. Celtics would of had him, but took Scalabrine.

Larry Hughes was 1st in league in steals, Lebron was 3rd. If they resign Big Z, they willl be very exciting

Xao, Cleveland has yet to make the playoffs even with LeBron and yet they've qualified for the middle tier? Yes, I think they can and should be better next year, but that was true heading into this year, too, according to most people.

Honestly, I'm not sold on Chicago either, much as I'd like to be. This was the first time they've made the playoffs after several years of nearly dropping out of the league. I'm not totally convinced they have a winning mentality yet, and I'm not entirely sure who they have that can carry them through rough stretches in games and on the schedule.

New Jersey is legit, but Kidd's health is still a question mark I think.

I suppose I see the East as the big three, and then a bunch of teams that will compete for playoff spots, and then a few teams that just suck.
