I used to really want to move back to Penang, Malaysia. After my last vacation I think I'm finally letting go of the place. Right now Shanghai, China is good; but I don't think I could live here for more than 4 to 5 years. I'd love to try NYC out, but the idea of moving back to the no-opportunity US doesn't appeal to me.

I guess I'd like to try living in different major cities in Asia. So... I'd like to live in Asia, which I do, but I don't know where in the long run.

manang, nepal. right underneath the annapurna massif

for an idea of scale, that small lake at the bottom right of the first picture is 1,000 meters above manang. usually it's frozen and has a beautiful icefall at its mouth.

i think my second choice would be joshimath or haridwar in the garhwal region of uttar pradesh, india

I'd kind of like to just move downtown for a few years. Eventually the mountains and from looking at drem's pics anything with a view like that. gonna think more about it now =)
