I hate flying because I get stuck next to jackasses like Mindia who won't shut the fuck up even after I explain to them I don't care what they have to say.

Whenever I fly, I say hello, then open a book and put in earplugs. Problem solved.

I dont say hello. I walk on the plane with headphones and they dont leave until I get to the gate. Often I will sleep also.

Best was when I was watching Flight of the Phoenix on my laptop and the guy next to me asked me to stop watching that movie because it disturbed him. I turned my laptop to the side and continued watching it np.

Is that what all the pilots do? Reading while flying and ignoring all sounds?

I love flying. I enjoy meeting random people and chatting them up during the flight. Every now and then you meet very interesting people and have a lively conversation. It makes the flight go faster and you never know what you might learn from someone.

Flying down to California for a baseball tournament afew years ago i met some of the University of Washington softball players heading down for a tournament themselves. I was lucky and spent the entire flight talking with them. Got afew numbers and partied with them while i was down there, and after we flew back up.

Fuck you social bastards who think I care about you.

Last flight I took alone, I was in business class, THOSE people like to talk. Mostly about their business, their families they rarely see, blah blah blah, I didnt bring a cd player with me to shut the other guy up so I bought a headset to listen to the movie so I could fall asleep.

Man jailed for molesting sleeping woman on plane

Aug 5, 10:38 AM (ET)

BOSTON (Reuters) - A business executive was sentenced on Thursday to seven years in prison for sexually assaulting a sleeping woman seated next to him on a Delta Air Lines flight from Dallas to Boston.

A statement from the U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts said that on April 5, Deepak Jahagirdar, 55, laid a blanket over the 22-year-old woman who was returning from a vacation, unfastened her seat belt, unbuttoned her pants and assaulted her by touching her genitals.

"The woman immediately pulled Jahagirdar's hand from her pants and fled to the rear of the aircraft where she reported the assault to the flight crew," it said.

The crew alerted four U.S. Secret Service Agents who were on board the flight, returning from an assignment in Texas.

The plane was met by state police in Boston but Jahagirdar briefly tried to escape by trying to flee in the walkway between the plane and the airport.

Skin cells taken from Jahagirdar, an Arizona man whom authorities said did not know the woman, showed a "significant quantity of the victim's DNA was present on his hands" after the incident, the statement said.

After his release, Jahagirdar must pay a $25,000 fine and be supervised by authorities for two years.

Significant amount of DNA? If she came on his hands then there is no way that was assault.
