I guess if you weigh a lot you are not athletic...guess the NFLs linemen are the most unathletic people in the sports biz.

Well some are like William "refrigerator" Perry but most are not because of the actual position they are playing. They actually move around during the game on all plays. While fat baseball players are standing there picking their nuts and once in while move when the ball is hit to them.

I know you want to say baseball is more athletic because you play the game but you lose when you compare it to hockey. In hockey the players have to move around all the time. They also has to endure the hits and try to stay on their skates.

Yeah the point is that Fielder still play in the major league after gaining all the weight.

Kruk actually said he wasnt that athletic many time on Baseball Tonight on ESPN.

I can't believe people are actually comparing the athletic ability of these 2 sports


anyone who's saying baseball has obviously never even seen a hockey game, let alone played hockey

Really its like comparing apples and oranges. Both sports use different types of athletic abilities.

I don't think they're that different, in terms of athletic abilities, but better comparisons would likely be soccer and baskteball
