No, it isn't. You can register to vote in primaries and still be independent. Again, show me where he's a card carrying member of the GOP. I registered Democrat in 90 and 94, :ohsnap: I guess I'm a partisan Democrat!

I must respectfully disagree again and say it's still contrary to his claims of having always claimed independent. There was an option to register independent of a major party (you reading this, Mindia? This means INDEPENDENT) and he chose Republican. The fact that you registered Democrat for those two elections is fairly meaningless unless you have a major television show where you make false claims about always being an independent. Bringing up Kerry's marriages to counter that is either a clumsy sophism or some kind of tricksy hobbit ruse I'm not catching.

I can host that picture on my web server instead of pulling it right off oreillysucks.com, but I don't think it'll make it any less real than it already is.

No snap, though, sorry. :dunno:

At least Martha was pretty when George married her. Teresa Heinz Kerry has a face like 5 miles of bad road. :)

There's a difference between perceived bias and downright lying, Fin.

Which one are you defending...or attacking?

I'm not defending or attacking either. Fox News is much more bias than CNN.

I'm not saying I believe it to be 100% truth or anything like that, and it definetly has its biases and its own way of pushing and molding things. But, if you go into it realizing that and take it with a grain of salt, it is a very interesting watch.

I did watch it, and its got some good <and not so good> information.

You can really point to bias often. Whether it's Fox, and the ridiculous fact they use Geraldo Rivera and call him a reporter, or if its Ted Turner insulting all Christian people by calling them Jesus Freaks, Eason Jordan being silly, CNN airing George Soros funded documentaries CNNs bias in reporting with a 75% DNC viewpoint during the election, or Fox and their GOP related silliness with Hannity and others who are ridiculous.

The trick is to filter through the news and glean the facts from the silliness. Now things are so partisan and pretty much every media outlet has an agenda.

Our government seems most effective when we have balance. Either a GOP Congress and DNC Prez, or vice versa. I prefer a GOP Pres and DNC Congress since it seems to balance nicely. Although now a days special interests seems to have blurred the lines between the two parties to the point where we have a heap of bullshit politicans that look identical, save for four or five crux party defined issues.

Likewise, as irritated as I get with Fox, it's nice to have an alternative to CNN, since they are biased to the left and this allows for a form of balance, too.

At the end of the day... Fox is still the least irritating of all the news networks.
