Sounds to me like you need to change your looting system. Hey, NEWSFLASH!! Lots of people don't like Ultangel. I dont think it ever bothered her in the least, and regardless of who is running the guild, that doesn't stop Infusion from being a pretty decent guild. They may not be in Lementals or Time (Last time I checked) but they still have their shit together. THere is a core group of players and alot of GREAT officers, some that I appointed myself when I was there as an officer. Get over yourself Darkenwood. Johnn may be a waste of space, but he's OUR waste of space.

regarding the pickup raids .. yes it's clearly a differnt tactic then has been used by other traditional guilds on the server but since when did i every say anything to anyone about WoH being like everyone else ... ive seen tons of guilds fold and tons of guilds surprise me on the things they can accomplish ...
regarding the agnarr pickup raid yup your damn straight we wiped 3 weeks straight on the agnarr script but on 4th attempt we won under my leadership and 70+ people all obtained their flags KNOWLEDGE IS POWER AND LEADING AN AGNARR EVENT WITH PEOPLE U NEVER RAIDED WITH BEFORE IS NOT AN EASY TASK AND PEOPLE TEND TO NOT LISTEN IN SOME EVENTS GET OVER IT .... ALSO on each of the 4 attempts we got closer and learned alot .. im fairly confident that unless you were to weasle your way into a time guild or close to time guild that would be the only way you would ever get into solrotower or beyond

Well since its been a month or so since I last checked this site, I will add something to the flaming mound of crap that this thread has become....
It was stated earlier that Infusion was the only guild that likes WoH.
Take my word for it that has changed. Some drama in ssra nobody gives 2 shits about blah blah add darkenwood blah blah presto infusion don't like WoH.
I can tell you in my experience WoH was a shitty ally, 80% of the members I interacted with were asshats and the other 20% were embarassed to be there. DW if you wanna straighten your guilds rep out, need to reign in the n00bs and let them know you will lay the smack down for stupid shit like training, ninja' looting, and in general being an asshat. Organize your raids into something resembling organization, and work from there. I have never liked you, but always said you know your shit when it comes to low-tier PoP and Luclin, but a combination of n00bs & asshats for raiders, and in general a lack of organization has held you back and are the biggest reasons this thread exists~
PS Infusion has helped guilds by showing them how to do certain encounters, in all instances since I have been a member it was a mob we had already killed on our own. So take your crutch BS and shove it up your ass.

I wouldnt lead a pickup raid unless I was desperate; not because I couldnt do it (oh, the trama of having to kill the portals BEFORE you target the bosses), dont want his trash lewts, dont need his key, and dont find it entertaining; but because leading a PU is taking a zerg force of people that go afk during instructions, cant follow or dont understand, and have no place on a raid team. If I lead a PU id end up zerging x2 the people just so I could kick 1/2 of the fags.
And I would also be personally embarased in my attempt to try and key 71 asshats for flag they dont deserve so the EP's can become the next BoT.
To the defence of dark, I have to say that hes trying to lead WoH in a positive direction through whatever means nesscary. Armchair QB's suck, assholes can be assholes in /gu if they are part of your fulltime raid team with 90% attendance. Thats just imo. Its not easy leading on a team of mostly untrained people.

I rejoined, gained a large sum of DKP (well large since it was in its infancy) and droped again because I was handing Jeddas over to a friend who was headed to Iraq for a while, so he could play a bard for a bit. He used to play a bard back pre-PoP so I figured he'd be fine. And he /guildremoved so he could raid with his friends, with my permission.
I never re-applied to WoH; maybe because I would prefer to be in a smaller guild, maybe not. atm im guildless. Maybe ill go hitup warriors of peacelight and help them for a bit, maybe ill harass gargamellow for an invite. But if I ever do apply to WoH you better accept my app ;P

Id also like to thxx dark for not sticking me in the chickenshit groups very often. Whenever I raided with many other guilds, pickups, ect, I always ended up in thoes groups one way or the other. Ya know... 2 necros, an enchanter maybe. A bard without a support team is a waste of space, 50 shitty DPS and a mana song thats probably already being cast; /wave overhaste and nuke enhance, goodbye decent resist song. (Best PU ever was bert raid where I had 4 rogues and a cleric.)
Often times I went into your group; which was good. But occasionally I made a point of running out of your range or missing a twist just to see if you would drop me in place of maybe Kenn (cause it was usuially JUST you and a one melee maybe, I still feel wasted) but you never did ;P
Oh, and you put up with my bullshit ISP back in EoV, and still constant LD problems later. (I parsed my LD/freeze rate now, down to less then 4/week~ YAY shitty comp)
ps; I advise that you crack down harder then ever before, and really nail the players that suck straight or boot them if they are not going to add to the team. I dont mean in a major "screw family guilds, we raid" sort of fashion. I mean if they are not conributing or taking away, they dont need to be there. Trying to max everyones potential.
After raiding with WoH and FoF pre-EP I was STUNNED to see how Ascentia raided, when instructions were given there was no fucking shit talk going on in /rs or any other channel. I was so freaked I took screenshots. My observation across many raids back when I was with WoH (you might have been fixing this) was that the bullshit in the channels added hours onto raids and killed us loads of times. If I was an officer on more the one occasion I would have told them to STFU, and if they continued, /guildremove them on the spot and tell them to take a fucking hike.
I havent been a guild leader or officer in a long damn time though. Thats a fulltime job I dont need. Communication is the potent weapon that so many guilds cant weild, its knowing when to talk, not knowing not to... man its been more then a YEAR since EoV...
