Bit where her dad specifically states she has one bolded. "The morphine drip". Not any...the.

Actually her father didn't say anything about a drip. It's text put in by the article's author. Her father's words are the bit *inside* the quote marks, eh? I don't see any actual quotes where he claims there's a drip.

Schindler said he feared the consequences of morphine that has been used to relieve his daughter's pain.

``I have a great concern that they will expedite the process to kill her with an overdose of morphine because that's the procedure that happens,'' he said.

Felos disputed that, saying that hospice records show Schiavo was given two low doses of morphine - one on March 19 and another on March 26 - and that she was not on a morphine drip. The records show that the second dose was given after nurses noticed ``light moaning and grimacing and tensing of arms,'' he said.

Hospice spokesman Mike Bell said federal rules kept him from discussing Schiavo specifically, but said ``a fundamental part of hospice is that we would do nothing to either hasten or postpone natural death.''

Again, no actual *quote* by the father saying she had a drip. He only said he's worried they'll give her an overdose. And given that Felos said she didn't have a drip, I'd strongly think she didn't. Gotta be careful to to read stuff between the lines.

At least he seems to have good network bandwidth from Xordax Prime. What color is the sky there, I wonder?

On Earth, something like 2/3 of the American people think he's doing the right thing. It's a small and virulently hate-filled minority that are trying to force their beliefs on Terri to keep her alive, and the majority of the population think he's right to do what he did.

Since Rust doesn't know any way to behave other than a 10 year old who always has to have the last word this is my last post to Rust in this forum. You don't think those polls were biased Rust? I know you do, so stop acting so stupid about it. The sooner you ween yourself from the liberal cack, and start thinking for yourself, the better off you will be.

When ABC, CBS, CNN *and* FOX all agree there's a 2/3 majority in favor of keeping the tube out, no, I don't assume they're all lying. It's not exactly likely.

You could enlighten us by pointing out how they're biased polls maybe?

duh rust, they're biased because they don't verify his opinion as fact.

So you are saying that because there is no actual quote from her father he wasn't discussing his daughter being on a morphine drip? Under that premise every news article should be nothing but exact quotes, right?

It is possible that the journalist supposed her father was referring to Terri being on a morphine drip from the context of their conversation. But there is nothing there that excludes her father from saying she was on one either.

I agree, he may have said it but Felos commented specifically about the story and said she wasn't on one. But I can't actually find a quote from the father.

I'd guess since he visits her daily he'd see she had a morphine drip. It doesnt say it directly, but it certainly 'iimplies' it.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4390501.stm

"She's alive and she's fighting like hell to live," Mrs Schiavo's father, Bob Schindler said after visiting his daughter.

But he added that he had "a grave concern" that doctors at the Florida hospice where is being treated might hasten her death with an "overdose" of morphine.

:Clarification: There is no drip. They gave her two doses of Morphine
http://www.newswatch50.com/news/nationa ... 94C4BE544A

Meanwhile, hospice nurses have given her morphine patches in response to grimaces, moans and tensing of her arms, said a lawyer for her husband.

This Judge, her parants and her all need to fucking die. This fucking thing will never end unless someone rushes the hospital and just kills her.

8,000 appeals rejected in 10 days, now they give them another one, great...

What'll happen is the minute they agree to reinsert her feeding tube, she'll die.

Anyways, they are listening to arguments solely. This is agonizing for her parents, and keeps their 15 minutes of fame going.

She's past 13 days. Given her parents said she was a few hours from death a week ago, perhaps we should assume she's already dead.

I guess it doesn't fucking matter, the media will bleed this for 3 months past her death anyway... Maybe it isn't I want her and her family to die, just the media.

I think she may make it 40 days, thus putting her in the same league as jesus and his ability to fast for that long.

WE should send her to sainthood

I hope Michael Schiavo gets run over by a 10-ton truck. Oops, that's not very Christian-like of me. What I really meant to say was I hope that Michael Schiavo is tormented by his conscience (if he has one) every day 24/7 until the day he dies.
