Make me a serious offer though. Ill be honest it will PROBABLY have to include either shaq or dirk. Multiplayer deal most likely for it to work out fairly.

Dwayne Wade involving a trade with Shaq or Dirk is laughable.

On face value, yes...
but IF he stays healthy, he might end up being the #2 or 3 guard in the league this year...

Kobe > LBJ >

dwayne?

COULD BE!!

I wouldn't give either up though... I figured it would look something like, I fill one of your holes and you fix one of mine... while replacing the holes with suitable players...

Like, you don't have any STRONG centers, I have 2... I don't have STRONG guards, and you have 2...

So... I'd give up my STRONG center, and give you a GOOD guard.
You give me your STRONG guard, and give me your DECENT center.

It would make both teams better, but I'd also understand that you wouldn't want to give up one of your top players. Like, I might be better off by moving Dirk for a lesser forward AND a better guard, but I don't want to give him up because he's my favorite player and probably the anchor to my team.

No its not laughable at all. The second highest scorer in the league, and someone that is averaging 26 pts, 6 reb, 7.5 assi, 2 steals and a block a game from your SG is really fucking good. And he is getting better. An 80% free throw shooter, .519 shooting from the field, and an A/t of 1.947.

I never said a straight up deal for shaq or dirk, i said it would have to involve one of those two players, because quite frankly i dont want anyone else from Vonks team.

I also said it would have to be a multi player deal to make it fair...in other words shaq or dirk and one of his lower players for wade and one of my higher to mid players.

Reading comprehension is your friend sir :dunno:

No, I understood what you said, but even if you offered Wade (overrated) and your next top player for either one of them, I'd have to think about it.

Wade has also had a big spark of a season... taking him on for any 'proven' player is a huge risk... especially since he's not the most durable player in the league.

Shaq, Dirk, Kobe, Elton, Shawn Bradley - Proven.

I guess I should add TD and KG to that list :(

Took the words right out of my mouth tax on Shawn Bradley hehehe.

He is a huge spark, watching him play he is certainly not overated imho. He is still very young, and has a huge upswing side. The only knock on him is his durability, we will have to see how this year goes.

A trade is possible though, albiet might be a gamble. With basketball you never know on any player. How quickly a simple ankle injury can ruin a year/career for any player (i know it screwed up mine!)

You saying that if you had dirk, and i offered Wade and LBJ for him...you wouldnt snatch that deal up???? hehehe

It would depend on my current guard situation...

but, I probably would anyway, even if I *was* set on guards... I could trade one of them to fill whatever spot I was short on.

Plus LBJ can play the SF or F spot also!

I'll try to catch a game of the Mavs..Vonk. Currently reading 'The Last Season' by big Phil J. This exert cracked me up:

'I will argue for calls that should have gone our way, but there is a line I will not cross. The game, whatever else it may signify, is just that, a game. Many coaches adopt a much different view. Nellie, for instance, when his team was stinking up the joint, used to tell the refs: 'Throw me out of this game. I'm going to call you a cocksucker and a mother fucker. Now throw me out. I can't stand my team'. The refs didn't always submit. 'I'm not throwing you out,' one might say. 'You're going to have to stay and watch this shit for yourself.' Nellie would still find a way to get thrown out, jump in a cab, and be in his hotel room before the game was over.
