I expect more companies to follow. Too bad. I think plasma offers a better picture for movies.

too many downsides compared to LCD

lcd/plasma vs crt reminds me a lot of voip vs pots

if CRT didn't have to be so unwieldly huge to get big screen and high res, there'd be no reason for them otherwise. they don't produce as nice a picture yet
