Yeah manufactured..... oh wait no. No one set them up, they made their group which they called "Inner City Posse" when they were kids, it was a pipe dream and with drive and determination they marketed themselves like hell. Their first cd was made by putting two radios next to each other, one playing beats and one recording, Jay stuck his head in between and rapped. Their second CD was made on a kareoke machine. They started at the bottom and worked their way to where they were today through sheer determination. Detriot ghetto rap is most certainly underground. The only reason people even know of ICP is because they pushed to make themselves known. Besides the fact that their record label is most certainly underground, I could name people on it that you have never fucking heard of because they are not mainstream.
