I like living in a city.

Same here. I like the option of going to one of several different ethnic restaurants with only a 15 minute drive. I like actually being able to go see concerts of bands I like, because they actually come here. I like having a number of different options on things to go do if I feel like going out and about.

I couldn't imagine living in true BFE, where there's nothing within 20 miles but random cows. Now, having a cabin in the wilderness i visit on vacation, that's something else entirely. But living out there permanently? I don't think so.

The town I lived in growing up had 2,500 people in it. We lived 5 miles north of town with 12 acres. Not really "country" living, but it was small town enough. I really miss that sometimes, but it's really hard to beat the convenience of 'city livin'.

Have you ever made your own rod? I used to get better-than-Fenwick quality blanks, and then buy some Ryobi guides and foam cushion handles. It's a fun hobby.

need to look into that, I have a buddy who does that, but ive never tried. Hell, my favorite rod is the same one Ive been using since I was little, I dont even know who makes, theres no paint or anything left on it
