Officials in the eastern city of Jining plan to kill all dogs within three miles of areas where rabies has been found, the official Xinhua News Agency said Friday.

The measure came in response to the deaths of 16 people from rabies in Jining in the last eight months, Xinhua said. It didn't say when the slaughter would begin or how the animals would be killed. It said the city had about 500,000 dogs.

Juls is just a nickname cuz Juliana is damn long if you asked me. Many chinese girls dont originally have a chinese name and they give one for themselves but i didnt have a choice.. mine is on my ID and birth certificate. I'm half originated from China but was never born there or been there for a fact. I do have a Chinese name though...

And I find the treatment of animals in 'our' country to be equally abhorrant. You said that this torturous behaviour was excused because it was for 'food'. The average person who eats at KFC could hardly be called 'starving'. These actions, this mistreatment is hardly necessary... it's just profitable. I drew the parallel. You freaked out over a few dogs being butchered for what they considered threat to their health. It made you hate 'asians' even worse than before. I showed that this type of barbarism is 'not' reserved for the far-east... In fact, it's far - FAR more common right here in the USA.
