You should be more afraid of the banjo music and the squealing like the pig part of the country.

Indeed, going over the Rockies & Sierras is going to be the biggest bitch of the trip, I'd expect. You can avoid it to some extent by going down through Arizona, but even early summer, Arizona is averaging > 100 degrees, and even down there, you've still got mountains to go over.

I believe in you. If you actually did this, it would be the coolest thing you ever do. Well, besides when you meet the right girl and have some kids. But seriously, it would rock. You have my support. Not that it matters, but it would be a cool thing to do!

The only thing holding me back right now is the physical condition of my partner in crime.

I told him straight up that he's going to quit smoking NOW, or he's a pussy and isn't going to even make the New Hampshire ride.

Hahahaha if you come through WV, avoid biking through Wyoming, Boone, Mingo, and McDowell counties at all costs.

I think Harrison can do it. He's a stubborn shithead and because so many people on NT think he's a useless fatass I think that alone will push him to complete this journey.

I am still unclear on how you will get home again. Do you have to bike all the way back home as well?
