I disagree.. most of the people who consistently post here post from work because they have office jobs - not really that hard to do.

Also consider the hours one puts in is not always synonymous with productivity.

i'm not taking it seriously, i'm just sick of the same ol' schtick.

it doesn't bother me, because i think my boyfriend is sexy as hell and i know that i'm not pregnant. it's just annoying to watch normal discussions deteriorate into the same old crap. /shrug

If you sit there and say it doesn't bother you, you're full of shit. Again, it's the internet, if there was no flaming and sarcasm the internet would only be porn.

But Leah, if it wasn't for petty insults, recycled slams, and the same conversation pattern repeated 37 times before everyone gets tired of it, it just wouldnt' be NT any more, would it? rofl.

why should it bother me? it's just annoyingly repetitive (as is the all-too-common "OMG IT'S THE INTERNETS" comment that gets trotted out all the damn time when someone finally gets sick of hearing the same shit over and over).

You could leave then or just accept that it's the way this board has been for the past 7 years? Don't let the shit bother you and you'll have a lot more fun.

I work anywhere from 50-60+ and anything after 40 is optional for me, I love my job but hate the 6am wake-up.

ya i could work a lot less if i really wanted to, but I do what I have to do to keep the company rollin, new businesses are too tough, especially in what we do, hard to compete right off. I like wakin up as early as possible and get it out of the way, 5am is about normal

I think leah's problem isn't what we're saying but like, how we're saying it. Example:

Thread A
leah: I think global warming is bad.
NT Poster 1: You're a child molester
NT Poster 2: He's got no pubes hurr hurr
NT Poster 3: Let's have sex since I'm actually not 10 years old

Thread B
leah: Yeah, Casino Royale was a great movie
NT Poster 1: Did you take your boyfriend/son to go see it?
NT Poster 2: Did they let your boyfriend into the theater? It's PG-13 and all.
NT Poster 3: The new guy is awesome as Bond. PS - Hey leah, your boyfriend looks like he can shave with a butter knife.

Thread C
leah: I don't use Nair, I use that magic wax stuff.
NT Poster 1: Too bad you can't be like your bf and not grow hair at all anywhere
leah: Ok guys stfu this is getting old.
NT Poster 1: Stop whining. You're in NT dammit. Get over it or leave.
NT Poster 2: I love you leah, you're so nice.
NT Poster 3: Let's have sex.
NT Poster 1: waah waah. BTW she's pregnant.
leah: I don't care, but get new material
NT Poster 1: Obviously you do care. It is I who doesn't care!
leah: Ok whatever.

So yeah. I agree, it is kinda getting old. She can't have a legitimate conversation that doesn't get turned into a BF rip. And again, that's not cuz I want to nail you.

Oh btw, get him to register and we can rip him directly instead derailing your posts.

leah-don't listen to anything but your heart when it comes to affairs of the heart...for obvious reasons...

unless of course you are only being victimized by some charming prick who likes to beat the fuck out of you and fuck your friends.....then you have to listen to your head.............btw if that ever happens i will break his legs for 50 bucks

We wouldn't rip on her BF if he grew some facial hair.

I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

Hahah at first, I was like WTF, you are never late, then I realized what you were talking about

So, 100+ hours per week.

I always got a kick out of people who said "oh you're in school" - implying that it's not work. Guess sitting in classes 8 hours a day and then spending another 8 at night reading, studying, writing and so on "doesn't really count."

If you spend 8 hours a night on homework/reading, you're either in one of the toughest classes or a retard.

They could be procrastinating too. It's entirely a possibility.
