and if someone is bound and determined to kill someone, what makes you think them not having access to buying a gun is going to stop it? that just means hes going to go find a knife, or a bat, or something else.

Making guns illegal wouldnt even make it any harder really to buy one. If you think it would, you in another world. Open a local trader magazine and look how many pages there are for people selling guns. Our little trader thing is probably 50 pages long, and 30-35 of those are for guns and gun gear. Theres so many people out there with them, it wouldnt change a thing as far as acquiring them goes
