Wow, that was below the belt...

Yeah, no shit.

I caught him in another town, in the woods on a hike, and brought the baby mouse home in a cage.

He's just pissed off because I called him out on his pathetic psychotic episode killing mice outdoors for fun.

don't confuse me with tikker, what the fuck.

i don't give a shit about some shack in a field, but if there were mice in my house it would be fuckin' war. rats and mice are filthy little creatures that serve no purpose in a home, just a pest that spoil food and shit all over the place.

Ha, I guess I'm more of a sociopath or seeing the words "mouse" and "microwave" in the same sentence and immediately thought it put the mouse in the microwave.

I went there, too.

Either way, the mouse wasn't in my house.

Killing animals for no reason, outdoors, is retarded.

sorry but i work in food service and regard mice as less-than-nothing. they are called "vermin" in case you forgot. and tuggan summed it up in essence: useless creatures that ruin food and shit everywhere

i bet you think deer are majestic creatures as well, huh. not stubborn lawn-ruining flower-eaters that make agonizing noises and won't get out of your yard even if you're throwing things at them

No, I consider deer food. They're tasty.

I don't kill them for fun like a fucking retard.

Give it up. You can't justify killing animals for fun and fun alone like that fucking mongoloid did.

He wasn't killing them in his house where it would make sense. They were outside. That's fucking pathetic.

I think folks have gotten confused :p
Tikker killed a bunch of mice in a what I'll call a telco shack. This isn't a residence but a small shack of sorts where wires and all sorts of shit consolidate into.

Harri was saying that Tik is a bastard for killing mice in that way because it was essentially cruel and unusual punishment. In Harri's defense, I can see his point because said shack (under my assumption) is already being repopulated by mice, so Tik's killings really served no purpose other then what Harri is sort of calling "enjoyment".

Then folks, like me, made snippy comments about how and why we would do the same IF IF IF it were our house. But that isn't the case in Tikkers example.

This of course assumes that my "telco shack" scenario is correct and I don't know that it is :p

If it's a shack housing important components (things mice will chew on, being rodents) then I apologize.

I don't see this being the case, however.

I still dont see the diff. Mice are vermin and should be killed when ever possible so as to keep population as low as possible.

Hey man, if Tikker said he put a stick through them and roasted or smoked the guys, and they tasted mmmm good, well hey, that'd be a different story all together now, wouldn't it?

Yes, because killing something to eat it serves a purpose.

Killing something for shits and giggles other than fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes...is fucking wrong.

Tell that to the millions of hunters that ENJOY killing, sure they MIGHT eat the meat but they really get off on the actual hunt and taking of life.

WTF is it about cables and rodents / rabbits.

I've had my cable line dug up and eaten through twice by rabbits. I had an extension cord eaten in half by a rabbit.

Seriously, is the shit made from something that attracts them?

I noticed the standard "orange" cords never get touches, I had a red, brown, off white, all, were eating. My cable TV was an orange cable, the black one before, was never touched, the orange one, twice already now.

well, the cable boxes make perfect sense.. it's a warm small place for them to nest. same with snakes. as for chewing through the cables, it probably just looks like food to them as they do their usual bug scavenging.

and call me nutso, but I totally agree with Harrison. killing them in their own environment just for kicks is pointlessly cruel and stupid. a) because if they're not harming you, I see no reason to kill them and b) if they are harming something out there, you're never going to get them all, and they do reproduce you know.. it isn't like you're solving any sort of problem since they'll just be back. there are more efficient ways of ridding yourself of rodents than taking a stick and playing pound your chest testosterone caveman smash.
