Nope. You aren't wrong. Romney was well rehearsed. Granted everything that came out of his mouth was a blatant lie and a mass of flipflopitis, but his delivery was smooth. Obama didn't do nearly as well as was expected.

Towards the end of the first round of questions, Mitt was starting to look a bit twitchy.

All I have to say in the end is this:

Romney wasn't more "well rehearsed" but rather clearly more knowledgeable about economics and job growth than obummer. I totally agree with most people who watched the debate that Romney was like a professor educating a clueless school boy.

I think both are shady. I think the republicans are insane and if you want me to list why I will. I wish there was another choice but we know theres not. That said the republicans say something racist or insane in front of cameras every day. At the end of the day both parties suck but they are not the same.

Even conservatives were fed up with the way the republican party was going, hence the rise of the tea party. Look, obummer is the worst president we've ever had. His "vision for America" is frightening. He's a Marxist thru and thru and is hell-bent on changing America into a socialist/communist nation. You guys just don't know how dangerous this guy is and how badly his whole regime needs to be ousted, and that includes Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano. They are up to something big. FEMA ordering hundreds of thousands of body bags, Obummer wanting to create a national police force equally funded and armed like the military, the dept of homeland security ordering hundreds of thousands of hollow-point rounds, etc. This is not a conspiracy theory, these are all facts, and you can google all of them and even see obummer's statement on youtube about creating that national police force. Never mind his redistribution of wealth bullshit and his horrid social liberalism... he's got some major shit up his sleeve. AMERICA NEEDS ROMNEY NOW!

/trollfood Typical republican approach avoid the real issues, seeing the world through their bubble. Unable to see reality as the 47% do. 100% of all economic numbers are UP. You crazy un-American never-had-a-drink Romney lovers you. That guy is hardly human and sure as fuck is the most anti-American candidate I’ve seen in our lifetimes combined.

What would anti-American Romney have to say about this as it is 100% against his beliefs that second class citizens (women) could even consider this knowing it is only Gods will that impregnates women. Wasn't it Romeny that said "you can only get pregnant when God wills it"?

I don't think any president would have the a) time, or b) political capital to fully transition from the current system to one of socialism. Radical system change isn't something I'd lose sleep over regardless of who held the office of the President.

If we elect a president around whom significantly more than 50% of the country can form a cult of personality, then maybe a system change is possible. Other than that, I doubt it.

[factcheck.org]
Q: Is Obama planning a Gestapo-like "civilian national security force"?
A: This false claim is a badly distorted version of Obama’s call for doubling the Peace Corps, creating volunteer networks and increasing the size of the Foreign Service.

[americanthinker.com]
It seems clear that he meant to say, in effect, that the security of the nation is as dependent on its unarmed community service providers as it is on its armed military personnel. Even the nomenclature "corps," as in Peace Corps, carries a martial connotation as does the name, Salvation Army. His point: national security begins with civilians.

But I'm glad everyone is keeping up the good fight - it's always good to keep those in power on their toes. Fear, for some, is a good motivator.

P.S. If I suddenly stop posting, I was probably on the kill list. Alternatively, I might simply have had an cerebral aneurysm.

I wrote up a rather winded response yesterday and it was somehow lost in the posting process.

Kaemon, you are wrong. I am 100% positive that there are MANY people out there that would do a better job of running the country than Obama has. Unfortunately, this clown Romney is not one of them. He did a decent job of polishing his turd during the debate but it's still a pile of shit. He offered no details about what he actually plans on doing. His entire argument was basically, "I don't know what I'm going to do or how but it's going to be better than what you did!"

What is he going to replace Obamacare with? What happens to the 40million people that now have insurance that didn't before. How will bankrupt states pay for their own "poor"? How will a senior with pre-existing conditions "buy their own insurance" with a voucher? How will cutting taxes spur job creation when taxes are already at record lows? Shouldn't there be more jobs than people to work in them if low taxes was all it took? Which tax loopholes does he plan to eliminate to pay for his 5trillion dollar cut? How does he plan to work towards energy independence that he claims he is for? He mentioned the Canadian pipeline, off shore drilling, drilling in Alaska, etc. None of these things will help. That oil will all go to the market and NOT be used to make us independent. He's pro coal. Ok, at what cost? Does he suggest rolling back all the advances we've made in making it safer alternative? How does he justify a 2trillion dollar military spending increase? Who do you think gets that money? Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrup Grummon, etc. Why is it ok to spend TRILLIONS of dollars on military contracts with HUGE profit layers built in but it's not ok to spend pubic tax dollars on health care? I do not understand for the life of me WHY this is even a debate!

Lots of hot fucking air. NO substance.

Uh Menelvir... Go to youtube and type in their search engine "obama national security force" and listen to the grifter-in-chief straight from his own stupid mouth talking about it. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the fucking Peace Corps. And did anybody bother to google the DHS ordering hundreds of thousands of hollow point rounds? Or FEMA's 400,000+ bodybag order? Next you're all gonba believe the U.S. Labor Dept statistic that unemployment drppped to 7.8%. Pathetic.
