Anything to say about the cops shooting the paper lady in the BACK ? Or the truck rammed off the road? Should they be fired? Charged ? Is it ok cuz they feel scared? If youve been paying attention the cops are showing you exactly what they are like.Stop focusing on the crazy guy for a second and look at what is happening. Killing sucks butits about god damned time someone took alook at what the cops are up to. How many people do the police get to abuse or kill before its ok to get hopping mad ?
What do they call it when innocent people die in a war again .... I think its collateral damage. Sometimes its ok and sometimes its not I guess.
We can make a game out of this if you want. You list the number of cops and their family members killed by people they have wronged and I will list the people who have been murdered by the police and we will see whos list is longer. If you want we can also include k 9 officers vs family pets if you arent getting my point.
Ill start. Malice Green
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malice_Green That one will prolly be ok with you though since he was both a nigger and a drug addict.
This has been going on for a long long time and it isnt just a problem in la its a problem you can find in a lot of major american cities.

This guy prolly also deserved to be killed as he was black and didnt cooperate with the police. I was unaware being a jackass was a capitol offense by the way. I can prolly do this all night let me know if my point is taken yet ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aiyana_Jones This one is a favorite of mine. She prolly deserved it too. Well its understandable they were serving a warrant. If she didnt want to get popped she prolly shoulda hung around a better crowd.
Really harrison let me know when it starts to sink in that maybe the police might be a little bit more violent than you thought. I dont give 2 fucks what the people in that house were wanted for tell me that maybe that couldnt have been handled in a slightly less cowboy style. It is not ok. I was also told when I asked a cop from there right after it happened that it was not appropriate for me to ask him those kind of questions.
Try not to bring up other murders or events now either this is about police. I can already hear your thoughts too. Well wheres your outrage about when so and so scumfuck criminal kills someone. Im always sad by death but sometimes there is more to the story. ALso dont you think maybe our law enforcement officers maybe kinda should be held to a higher standard than your average gang banger ?

Drem, are you sure you aren't ignoring the Mountain for the Molehill here? There is no proof this guy is any sort of whistleblower. There is a whole lotta proof he has mental issues and is a murderer. His manifesto and the evidence there are very weak. What has been shown through multiple avenues is he was a bully and had issues with authority and obviously a chunk of paranoia.
Spazz, I'm not sure what point you are making. My simple point is murder is murder. Yes, there are bad cops and a few do dirty things, but does that justify your complete apathy and desire for them to be shot? I have friends who are cops and they are no different from other people. In fact, the biggest difference is they have to deal with an assortment of scumbags and druggies and are in far more danger than I am, so I appreciate what they do. As Jay said, there are some 'bad' black people, so is it cool to want them all shot? Likewise for rednecks?
You know my stance on prosecutors and law enforcement having way too much power, and I'm actually for abolishing the second amendment and doing everything in our power to get rid of every single firearm in this country as I think they are the root cause of so much damage. That said, I respect and appreciate law enforcement and my experiences are the complete opposite of you. I grew up in California, went to college at Cal Poly and have friends in the LAPD, too, and none of them are dirty, or deserve to be shot at, let alone killed.
This is not a whistle blower issue. This is more a mental health one.

Ya know lyion my point is that the police fuck people up all the time. They have fucked up multiple innocent people up just on this case alone. Yea the dude is crazy as shit but what if he telling the truth ? Also in my rantings last night I covered the I know a cop hes a good guy line at some point.
Your also an idiot if you think that guns are the root cause of the problems. Gun violence is a symptom of a much larger problem. unemployment lack of a decent job and education and all of the sickness caused by the war on drug is the root of the violence not the gun that would be more like the flower.
Good for you that you like cops and hate guns I guess. Hope your never in a situation where you need either. Far as some one else telling me what I need or should have I gotta sayno thanks im qualified to make that decision and have proven time and time again that im responsible enough to own one so you can blow me.
freedoms important to me man. From owning a weapon to not getting tossed by the cops on a rego basis.
ALso lyion I really think that the police should be held to a higher standard than your average ghetto ass nigger or meth dealing cracker. I expect both groups to act ignorant as all hell at all times but expect a little better from our law enforcement.
Wanna talk about the cops shooting a newspaper woman in the back or running a different truck off the road while trying to catch our friend here? Want to discuss if thats ok or not ? Its kind of like this man if you cant see that there might be something a little bit wrong with the police and how they handle themselves than most of this conversation is going to be a waste of my time. There is a problem with cops and racism and violence im wondering if your aware of it ?

CHief im not so much rooting for him as I am rooting against the police. I also think that seeing someone give the kind of pain the police dish out back to them is absolutely fascinating. This guy is insane as all hell but that doesnt mean that the lapd didnt push him over the edge. Truth be told theres enough bodies and all eyes are on it now I just want the truth to come out about the police.
Also have you not noticed that the police are acting like a death squad Im pretty sure the goal is revenge/silence. Dead people or not crazy guy or not if you dont think the police fuck with poor people in every way imaginable than your the one who isnt living in reality
I dont want anyone to die and im not rooting for this guy so much as I am hoping that this finally exposes it to everyone. We keep trying to tell you guys in the burbs that the police are nuts and you guys dont want to hear it. We keep trying to tell you the cops are racist but you guys respond with no no I know a cop hes a good guy he would never call someone a nigger or fuck someone with a plunger but still that kind of shit happens. Cops are sposed to be highly trained with guns too and yet bad shooting happen all the time. 2 happened over the weekend that you havent made a peep about or wanted to discuss. What do you think would happen to me if I put multiple rounds in the BACK of some bitches car hitting said bitch in the BACK cuz I was a feeling scurred?
If anyone is being at all ridiculous in here it isnt me for being fed up with the police and wanted something anything to happen that breaks the cycle. If those 3 peoples lives makes people look at the police than there death was worth it. I would say if my death would end police brutality it would also be worth it before ya get all worked up. Its something I believe strongly in and I see it as a war and people die in wars all the time.

I never defended Chris Benoit, I just said his crime didn't diminish his skill.
I guess I don't really have the same issues as some of you. I like cops. I think they get a lot of grief, mostly unjustified. I guess it's possible that in the US their all power hungry assholes that go around kicking old ladies and framing people for smocking crack. I doubt it, but I wouldn't know one way or the other. I think being a cop sucks, because no matter what you life is like, you pretty much have to live in the world of the most fucked up people. After a while, it gets to you. But all that aside, I separate the profession from the person. Even if all cops who murderous villains, we still need them. So what's the issue? The system? Does anyone have a solution?

I have several.
Start with ending the war on drugs.
limit what the police are allowed to do on a stop.
civilian review boards of any violence involving a cop.
hold cops responsible for anything they do wrong if it makes it even harder to be a cop so be it.
charge cops caught abusing their power to the maximum the law allows.
Recording devices on all cops that are never off.If your in uniform your recording.
People to stop thinking that all cops are good guys and all black guys are criminals.
an end to the republican party way of thinking pretty much.
focus our resources and all of our strength in our own places of need instead of wars all over the world.
Stop making prisons profitable.
Stop creating a military culture in the police if they are at war who are the enemy?
end no knock warrents for all but the worst situations if your kicking in the door with a flashbang someone better have a gun to their head.
All cops have to live in the city they work in.
Mental evaluations often to make sure the stress and the people arent getting to the officer.
Holding them to the same standards as me when it comes to use of deadly force. If you point a weapon at some one and pull the trigger you had better be right or your going to prison.
Perhaps pay them better and raise the requirements for becoming a cop. Might get a better class of officer if you have a smarter officer.
Thats a few ideas off the top of my head.

Much of that actually sounds pretty reasonable to me.
The current Dorner/LAPD situation seems like a lose-lose for everyone: the individuals involved, the LAPD organization, and not least, the sanctity of the public trust in that organization. If one good thing comes out of this, it would be just shy of miraculous as far as I'm concerned.

I was talking to an officer tonight when he came in for dinner and I asked him what he thought about it.
He agreed the guy is bat shit crazy, but he also finds it peculiar that Dorner has a million dollar bounty on his head from the LAPD. He said he's never heard of such of a thing and it makes it look like someone high up is trying to cover something up.

Actually, those are some good starting points for discussions, if somewhat vague and generalized. let me respond:
1. Start with ending the war on drugs.
I'm all for this, but it's currently supported by both parties. Moreso the Dems than GOP, you do know...
2. limit what the police are allowed to do on a stop.
They are limited. Very much so. The problem is the law is convoluted and many do not understand their base rights.
2. civilian review boards of any violence involving a cop.
There are Grand Juries. Also, courts, lawsuits, and the mayors office. Cops are reviewed and re-reviewed.
Plus, almost all police cars have video installed.
3. hold cops responsible for anything they do wrong if it makes it even harder to be a cop so be it.
That's just silly. They are held to a much higher standard already. They are not perfect.
4. charge cops caught abusing their power to the maximum the law allows.
You mean like throwing a guy out caught lying about his partner who 'supposedly' kicked someone in the face, but only after said 'partner' gave him a bad review as his supervisor? Got it. Cops are tossed out regularly and held to pretty strict standards. It's even much more stringent at the FBI, where I used to work.
5. Recording devices on all cops that are never off.If your in uniform your recording.
Sounds great to me.
6. People to stop thinking that all cops are good guys and all black guys are criminals.
Hey, maybe some people will stop thinking all cops are bad guys who need to be shot, too! Mirror, mirror on the wall.
7. an end to the republican party way of thinking pretty much.
Awesome. let's start with getting rid of the second amendment and installing New York Democrat style handgun laws everywhere in America. Give Obama free reign to get rid of as many guns as possible. The toughest cities on crime tend to be the blue ones, not the red ones, also.
8. focus our resources and all of our strength in our own places of need instead of wars all over the world.
Rand Paul attitude. I'm good with that.
9. Stop making prisons profitable.
Once again, I ask you to check California which is on the verge of bankruptcy from Correctional Officer Unions. I'm cool with making prisons non profit a la hospitals, but I'd prefer to get the Gubbermint out of the picture.
10. Stop creating a military culture in the police if they are at war who are the enemy?
As soon as we get rid of drug addled unemployed people who cheer when cops get shot and lock down 1000 times harder on despicable locations a la Detroit. Law Enforcement is a dangerous jobs. Their standards are for their own safety. Most law abiding normals do not have an issue with them.
11. end no knock warrents for all but the worst situations if your kicking in the door with a flashbang someone better have a gun to their head.
That's a public safety issue. Unfortunately there are too many dirtbags out there who want cops put in more danger and once again cheer if they get shot.
12. All cops have to live in the city they work in.
Yes, let's limit the pool of cops in areas with a lack of good people. Not a good idea.
13. Mental evaluations often to make sure the stress and the people arent getting to the officer.
They have them.
14. Holding them to the same standards as me when it comes to use of deadly force. If you point a weapon at some one and pull the trigger you had better be right or your going to prison.
They are held to far higher standards than you and I. They do frequently go to prison.
15. Perhaps pay them better and raise the requirements for becoming a cop. Might get a better class of officer if you have a smarter officer.
They tend to have pretty tough requirements. Much of the problem is the attitude of those who are attracted to being in law enforcement who are a bit like this Dorner fellow: tough, self important, arrogant, and wanting to have power. The problem is the best cops are those who are the exact opposite in temperament of so many who become police.

1 both parties support it because its political suicide to oppose it.
2 no they really are not limited. If no ones watching they yell words like nigger and tend to be a little less than gentle. Theres not really a lot you can do to stop them from searching you weather you know your rights or not If there are no witnesses and you cannot afford a decent lawyer.
3 No they are not. Just last weekend cops shot up several wrong vehicles and shot a woman in the back. No heads have rolled from that incident. Cops from both the king and green cases are still on the force and have moved up in rank as well.
4 were we are going to disagree again. It looks to me like cops tend to get away with it when caught and due to my own exp and things like whats going on now really make me wonder about how much cops really do get away with
5 Glad we all can agree on that one. I dont want suspect or cops punished for anything they didnt do or getting away with murder this seems like a good way to help keep everyone honest
6 There a lot of racists out there who really do think every nigger and mexican is a criminal. Racism is a problem that I thought we were slowly moving past in our country but the last few years have really seen it come back into style. I profile cops the same way they profile people.
7 I was being kind of a smart ass on this one but... In going to go out on a limb and say that the 10 most dangerous cities in america are prolly all almost in blue states. Some of the hardest ghettos on earth have the strictest gun laws and out in the country where everyone lives in a bunker and is armed for zombies people dont really get shot. When I said that I was thinking about locking people up for profits, cutting every program that helps the poor , slashing education, hating unions and being all for shipping evey job out of the country if it makes it cost 99 cents. Weather someone owns a gun or not doesnt really matter a lot when it comes to factors that can land you in the clank. Educated people and folks with decent employment tend to get locked up a lot less.
8 A broken clocks right twice a day but dont smear my name by associating it with his. The guys a racist crackpot and can fuck off.
9 I dont give 2 shits how much it costs the stae of california to lock someone up. If its making you broke perhaps you should look into the policy of why so many niggas in jail. Making prison a for profit industry and not seeing a serious conflict of interest makes me wonder if you might be brain dead or just dont want to acknowledge that because it fucks up your skewed world view. There is no way around it. If locking a man up turns a profit wouldnt the next logical step in a business plan be to lock up as many people as possible. Jesus Christ dude just get it. The government should be the only one in the busniess of locking people up and it should cost a fortune and be a big pain in the ass to discourage them from doing it to everyone. Also i hate to sound soft but if you plan on releasing some one from jail and not keeping them there forever it would prolly be a good idea to try to rebuild them while they are in there. Teach them some life skills and education , no one should be getting raped etc. That would cost a fortune but countries that operate their prisons that way seem tobe having some success. Do something with people there so that when they get out they dont come back. It costs money but its good for society.
10 Being a cop isnt that dangerous of a job im sorry to say. They deal with bad people but most of the time they dont get hurt. This is really a dope thing and a class thing. I know a big part of republican culture is shitty people should be punished for being shitty but if you look deeper at the problem you might notice that isnt working and is creating the ghetto cycle. Having huge ghettos all over america isnt doing anyone any favors and it costs a fortune to police, feed and incarcerate these people over times and maybe over time instead of wasting money fighting a war on it we can burn some money to repair it. Do you think black kids are born with a glock and a gang rag ? A child is born a blank slate and what they see and what they learn makes the person. You seem to think that if you get rid of the guns youll get rid of the violence, I think theres a much deeper problem causing it than steel plastic wood and led.
11 ive already touched on the war on drugs here many times. A lot of these no knocks arent for the worst of the worst they are for low level dope dealers. Watch em and snag em when they come outside maybe ? Surround the house and over a few hours to force them to surrender maybe? my want for those no knocks to end is actually about everyones safety officers included. Kicking in a door in the middle of the night is a good way to get a gunfight to break out. Also criminals dress like swat teams and use the tactic from time to time as well. Its just an all around bad thing. No knock warrants are for people like Binladen not your average criminal.
12 Wrong. A good way for a cop to know his area and actually be part of the community is to be part of said community. This is also a dont shit where you sleep thing I think cops would be a lot more reluctant to be assholes and bust heads if they new the people and there was a much better chance of it coming home tot hem
13 Obviously they need to happen more often or be more strict. There are too many incidents involving cops for me to not think there might be a bit of a problem.
14 When they do go to prison its usually for a lesser charge than they deserve not greater. Like I said earlier the cops went wild west on several innocent people inc ali over the weekend and Ive yet to see a single head roll. What do you think would happen if I emptied my glock into a car and shot an innocent woman in the back because I was scared ? Its not alright for them to act that way no matter what the situation is. The possibilities for horror are too great to let ANYONE just walk around opening fire on things. One of the number 1 rules of guns is IDENTIFY your target. Ive always known that I handle a firearm better than most cops but shit like this is absurd.
15 Yea I have always thought as an adult that if you want to be a cop theres some thing wrong with your head. Still I think a more educated police force would be a better police force. If you raise the requirements of the job im sure there will still be people out there who are willing or want to do it. Also and I know this is blasphemy to say because your not allowed to talk about the troops but maybe war vets from the kind of wars we have been fighting might not be the best choice for patrolmen. I think there are a lot of things dpts could do and not do to try to get a slightly less aggro crop of police
