As Ive said earlier, I'll end up playing both at first until I completely get bored of being uber in WoW so quickly.
Then switch from hardcore WoW to hardcore EQ2.

Nagi you just piss me off because of your lack of knowledge really. 6 months after release WoW will have far more raid type encounters than EQ2, hell the Devs for EQ2 even said it's going to be more of a casual game opposed to the raid-fest EQ1. You said you'll be able to play 8 hours a week..you're a casual player. WoW is a casual players game. So you say EQ2 and WoW are basically the same...wouldn't you playstyle more fit WoW? This is what I cannot understand.

His playstyle would most definitely be more of a benefit playing WoW.

Come on, Taxx! That is not a fact or argument, just complete Blizzard cocksucking. If you are going to be peeved at him for being a fanbois, try not being one back.

No, I said that WOW and EQ are basicly the same. Not WOW and EQ2.
the main change you are talking about is that EQ2 is not going to be the raidfest that EQ was, but that doesn't mean that it won't have raid content or that WOW will have more. EQ2 has tons of raid content but they don't want to go in the direction that EQ went.
I guess though that in a year WOW will have more end game EQ style raid material, because that is what they are aiming for. EQlite.
Just because with only 8 hours I can advance faster in one game than the other doesn't mean that I want to give up all the better things in for a new EQlive. WOW I could get max level in ~18 weeks playing 8 hours a week. What then? WOOO! I am max level and don't have time to do the uber raids, no reason to keep grinding, game over. I don't need another game where the goal is grind to the top so you can uber raid.
Just because it is slower paced and has alot more content all the way through doesn't mean you can't enjoy EQ2 casually.
I mean hell, just the predator and ranger specialization quests beat anything I saw or have heard of for quests in WoW. Those are both low level solo quests.
