When I said "doing an instance" I just assumed people would think that meant beating the boss.

As I said, it's possible, but slim.

(Library and Graveyard I think the one on the left is called)
Oh, well that's some kind of achievement....
The changes coming to limit instance groups to 5man for the majority of the instances out there... is that really an issue? I have never done anything more than 5man... didn't realize people did. Granted I haven't done BRS/MC/Strat/Scholo/etc... but I mean people were doing it in SM, Ulda, etc? That's pathetic.

They're not hard enough to warrant more than 5-man groups.
Out of boredom I would go back to WC at 35 just to clear it out.

Rereading my post, I realized that this might not be as obvious as sarcasm as it was intended.

As it is RIGHT NOW. LBRS, Strath, and Scholo are very hard to 5 man. LBRS not so much so but Strath and Scholo...
MC is 40 people, period.

I knew that about MC... just wasn't thinking when I included it. My error.

Hell, I was solo'ing the Graveyard at 36 with a warrior and by 40 I could solo most of the Library. Actually that makes me think about farming the Cathedral for chests... if only they weren't requiring Truesilver Skeleton Keys half the time =\

This is to Lyion
Some of the instances have difficult encounters when they're done at the appropriate lvls
Uldaman boss is challenging at lvl 40
Zul, the enounter where you get zerg'd at that pyramid is hard at the right lvl
SM isn't too bad, but it's really easy to wipe with just one asshat in the group
Encounters become infinately easier when you're a couple lvls higher than the intended level
Think back to EQ
think about how insane the Wizard mobs were in Guk at frenzy camp at lvl 40ish
If you didn't get them killed asap, you were all toast
think about how much easier they got post 50
it didn't matter so much if you killed them 1st, or 2nd, or whatever, you could get by just assisting, and not paying attention
that's exactly what the instances are like
when you're over lvl'd your margin of error goes WAAAAAAY up, and required skill goes WAAAAAAAAY down
We went to do a maraudon run the other night
We couldn't get a tank to come with us, cause we were all sub 50(he was shocked we'd go there before lvl 55!)
we 4 manned it, with a 48 shaman tanking (alternating with my pet)
we didn't kill the boss, but we cleared everything else, because we don't suck
I think we could have done it np, just adding any other person to bring it up to 5 man, but you know, we're tools for doing lvl appropriate content

I'm on a break right now from WoW....
I have realized I am long past these types of games in general as far as entertainment value. The only thing that kept me around was the people and for whatever reason most of the people on the nameless decided to end up spread across all types of servers or playing different games. There are a lot of cool peeps in the guild but a lot of my close friends aren't involved in the game anymore. It makes it hard logging on.
