The top Canadian universities are McGill (21), Toronto (37) and UBC (46). Obviously I'd be prouder if Toronto was top 10, but top 40 is fine. In biomedicine we're #20, and my M.Sc. in in Medical Biophysics...

But the best schools are still mostly US. It's like the US health care system - you have the best hospitals, you spend tons more than we do, and yet have a somewhat crappy overall health care system (low life expectancy, high infant mortality, etc.). It's wierd.

Oh, I looked for Mindia's fine institution of higher learningl, but oddly I missed seeing it in the top 200 ranked schools...
