Bump for the week.. Into the 180's! Weighed in at 188. Also, all of my pants are starting to have too much ass-space, and it looks very unattractive

yay!! Nice job!! I'm a big slacker on the workouts this week. I've been super tired and working long hours but that should not make a difference!

Stacy, how is your health?

Awesome.. healthy as a horse but not as big as one.. haha
Since I've dropped 45 lbs I no longer have high blood pressure or joint pain issues.
My doctor is very pleased with my results. I'm on target to drop another 100lbs according to him and the weight loss curve he uses.

That is great news. I also have some other news, but I'll PM it, because it is of a more private nature.

ok.. I finally worked out this morning after being a big slacker last week. I did 50 min total cardio. Tonight I plan to also do shoulders and chest. After, I'll do assorted abs.

Why was that private info? Just curious. I thought you posted about taking classes in other threads before anyway. So which elective did you decide on?

I don't know yet. I can't decide can't decide. Plus I have at least 4 more semesters until I need to make that decision.

Bump for the week, haven't worked out since Monday, got a new temp job, working 7-4 doing various things, mostly physical construction type work, so I'm sure I'm burning up calories with that.. It's exhausting to say the least.

Haven't played much DDR lately, but I started taking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kung Fu San Soo, plus still doing the new job. I think I'm actually putting on some muscle in my back arms and chest because of the job, and that's why I haven't shown any loss in a few weeks.

Congratulations!
You're on your first steps from being gay to straight. Just say no to DDR

Actually the Jiu Jitsu class makes me feel gayer than ever.. It's a lot like wrestling, and some of the holds and such are just... very uncomfortable... Unless you get the hot asian girl as your partner and she straddles your back and tries to get you in a choke hold and you flip her over and etc etc etc! But when the guys do it, it sucks.

Jiu Jitsu is what most of the UFC guys train...
Don't feel gay when you're learning self defense...feel gay when you're fake-dancing to techno.

My roommate does the DDR, I like the one song by Ian Van Dahl. Anyway, its great cardio.

Hey.. whatever works .. even if DDR is gay =P
My fav thing to do is spinning class. I've done spinning on and off the last year but this week I did a class with the group fitness director at the new gym where Dana is working. SHE KICKED MY ASS! OW! It still hurts to sit down. Well I did legs today too so that added to the pain. I'm a glutton for punishment. It was an awesome class though. She does really good with alternating the intensity and working up to a peak and then brining your heart rate back down. My Heart Rate was super high.. like 175 (my max is probably 180 - 185) and I was still feeling fantastic. I plan to keep going back for more. If any of you have the opportunity to take a spin cycle class I highly suggest giving it a try. It is a great workout especially once you get use to positioning yourself the right way on the bike.
