I've had wild boar too, actually. Ironically, at the same German restaurant that I got the venison at. It was decent, but honestly, not that different from normal pork.

As for Buffalo, I've had it in Chili, as a burger and as a steak. Been a while, but I don't recall it being THAT different from beef.

yeah man, wild boar, big dissapointment, you think, hmmmmm, this tastes like....... PORK CHOPS that my uncle Steve makes!!!!!
