If you try to fight this and the judge says no, you pay the ticket, court costs and it goes on your record. "I was going with flow of traffic" does not hold up at all in court.

it's true, just take the class. i did that a year ago--it's boring as hell, but totally worth not having the ticket on your record, especially if you can't afford anymore points (like me hehe)...

Seriously, you're being a real whiney bitch. There's plenty of people all giving you great advice and you're still crying about it. Ever think about asking a cop what your best course of action is? They'll tell you. It's not like they want your insurance to go up, they're just doing their jobs.

Your problem goes far beyond a speeding ticket. It's the inability to face a pressure situation. Look at how much you're freaking out over a speeding ticket. Let's list out all the advice given here.

1) Traffic school
2) No contest in court. Hope for supervision.
3) Don't tell them the "flow of traffic" excuse
4) Ask an official (namely a cop or even a judge if you know any)

4 different solutions at least yet you still whine about it. In the case that you are just a drooling downs syndrome ridden retard and you somehow fuck this up and get a ticket on your record, do yourself a favor and kill yourself. I think the pressure of having to budget out 100 dollars a week for 4 cars worth of insurance would put you in the fetal position in the corner of your house.

No, I'm done whining about it, now I'm mad at the dumbasses still on 1st base when I'm running home. I've already decided to go to court and plead no contest or obstruction of traffic. You guys are the idiots that still think I'm gonna try to contest it. Sorry you have the reading skill of a gnat.

i'd no contest it and write a letter to the judge. that's how i got my MIP fine reduced $150.

a cop pulling you over for 10 miles over looks almost just as bad for him. cops don't pull you over going up to 8 mph above the limit. it makes them look bad b/c it's very easy for a driver to fluctuate 5/10 mph up or down w/o ever knowing it. i know a cop, and i know a friend who's brother is a cop, and this is very true.

Well I already sent in the ticket saying I wanted to come see them in person for a trial or whatever so I'll just have to do it then.

my brother found out he had 22 points on his liscense when he tried to get insurance, and he never had to go to traffic school.

he can't drive currently, but they're even going to give him back a restricted liscense now, and it'll be unrestricted come this fall

when you take the 8 hour driving class to keep the ticket off your record and discover that you are having a hard time staying awake, do NOT go home for the lunch break and put a tablespoon of pure unadulterated pseudoephedrine powder (that your roommate who works at a pharmaceutical company sneaked home in an inside-out latex glove) with a tablespoon of sugar in a little cup (that you stole from applebee's that originally contained honey mustard for your chicken fingers) and dissolve them both in a half cup of water and slam it like a shot because your heart will race and you will not sleep for four days and you will hate it and it will be terrible and you will think you are dying
